  1. SWR at Hou this weekend or do we try Adams or Morris?
  2. Dearly beloved…it’s Prince night at Target Field.
  3. Jonah Bride has to be first on the DFA list. Not sure if he stays until Keaschall comes back but that’s where my money goes. He hasn’t had a hit since May 19. Although he did pitch better than Alcala last week, he doesn’t add any value.
  4. Can the first half of 2024 SWR please show up tonight? Let’s go Twins!!
  5. He throws strikes (control) but that is dangerous when you can’t command where they go. I realize this is similar to the previous two comments, but if SWR doesn’t figure out command, he will continue to get knocked around. SWR and Festa back to back in the rotation against the Rangers.
  6. Paddack will be gone next year so we’ll need some guys ready or near ready. Like to see Prielipp hit AAA this year and with the Twins sometime next year. Keep him on the starter path as long as possible. 2026 pitching depth - we’ve used 8-9 the past few seasons Lopez, Ryan, Ober, Festa, Zebby, SWR, Adams, Morris, Prielipp, Lewis
  7. Alcala DFA. Adams can piggyback with SWR and/or Festa. Doesn’t help that they are pitching back to back right now.
  8. Adams sent down today ahead of SWR coming back tomorrow. A penny saved is a penny earned.
  9. I’d rather not see him come up if they are going to treat him like McCusker. Pretty clear from the way they handled him what their thoughts are.
  10. 21 teams in MLB with a grand slam. Twins not on that list. (Yet)
  11. Yes, Joe doesn’t always react well when he’s not getting the calls the way he sees them. Big part of his development will be learning how to let things go and just keep pitching.
  12. It’s okay Peter! This team is capable of getting the best of any of us at any time.
  13. They could try a bullpen game with Adams as the bulk guy on Tuesday.
  14. Just reading articles about how twins should be dealing from a position of strength. No such thing as too much pitching. Batters need to figure some things out and quickly.
  15. SWR scheduled to pitch today for the Saints. Seems like he would be the one to come up for Zebby.
  16. More fun stats from our MN Twins: 15-20 in day games 7-10 in 1 run games
  17. Gleeman skeet: Chris Paddack has a 2.25 ERA in his last 11 starts, yet the Twins are 3-8 in those games. Twins' lineup has scored an average of just 2.3 runs in those last 11 games started by Paddack.
  18. Already did all of my whining and complaining on the game thread. Positives: Wallner, Paddack, Varland I’d say, hopefully Joe can be a stopper tomorrow but we need offense more than anything else right now.
  19. *update 3.66 with the Clemens HR Still not enough.
