  1. Option #2 is the key. Can the offense be 15th instead of 23rd in runs scored? Can they average 4-5 runs per game instead of 3? The problem is that this group hasn’t been able to do that since mid-August of last season. Lot of “ifs” for the offense. If Buck, Correa, Wallner stay healthy. If Lewis figures things out. If Larnach, Lee, Jeffers, Castro can produce at an average to above average level. If 🇫🇷, Bader, Clemens continue hitting as they have so far. I like this team - we will sink or swim with our hitters.
  2. 4-19 RISP and Alcala is not the right guy to hold a 1 run lead.
  3. Next day off is June 9th. This series is taxing. What a road trip. Rubber match tomorrow and then 4 in Sac town before we head home.
  4. Sands then Fundy, that’s all we have left in the pen.
  5. Yeah, likely won’t have him or Jax for tomorrow.
  6. We win 3-2 if anyone but Alcala pitches tonight. That sucks. Managing to win by aggressively pulling Ober and then putting in Alcala - makes no sense.
  7. Jeffers get that torpedo bat and ⚾️🚀
  8. Gave the game away there. Still - come on offense 🚀⚾️
  9. Man Alcala has been better of late. Definitely not the right guy to hold a 1 run lead though. Come on Twins! LFG
  10. Are we in some bizzaro universe. Holy crap, LFG!
  11. Poor offensive performance again. Nice to see Willi homer. Not enough bats
  12. Need more bats to complement the good pitching we already have. An offense that consistently ranks 15th (currently 23rd) or higher would give us more wins. 26-3 when scoring 4 or more runs. Thats the formula.
  13. Castro looks uncomfortable out there. Maybe he could benefit with some rest time?
  14. He’s been slumping for almost a 1/2 season going back to his “slump thing” comment.
  15. 3-3 in the last 2 series scoring 16 runs in those 6 games. Offense is back in its shell.
  16. They remind me a lot of Seattle last year. Top five pitching staff, but couldn’t score enough runs and missed the playoffs. This year Seattle the offense has been more competent and they are leading their division.
