  1. Maybe he’ll pinch run so he can get that 25th steal?
  2. Carlos the “leader” Correa from Talkin’ Baseball; Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa and Isaac Paredes all took one at bat tonight and then exited the game because the Astros are eliminated from playoff contention
  3. Hitting w/ RISP, the Twins kryptonite.
  4. Matthew Leach: Twins announce rotation for the remainder of the season. Thursday at Texas: Ober Friday at Philadelphia: Ryan Saturday at Philadelphia: Abel Sunday at Philadelphia: Woods Richardson
  5. Good clubhouse and vibes guy as well. I’m good with Clemens sticking around in 2026. Especially if it means no Outman, Gasper etc.
  6. Jeffers as primary catcher and sign Vázquez to back up for $2.5 mil. Split them 70/30
  7. Bizarro Zebby stayed in TC, good Zebby was in TX. He continues to tease us with what he can do. Hopefully he works on his command in the off season. The stolen bases have been a nice addition. Go Twins!
  8. Who is going to show up to pitch tonight? Good Zebby or Bizarro Zebby?
  9. Jeffers back, Pereda on the taxi squad. Jeffers to DH? I wouldn’t want him to catch and take another foul off the helmet in the last six games.
  10. I love the Joe Ryan experience, but can he pitch well in August and September? Injury, fatigue, illness, he’s mad at the front office. It all adds up to the same thing. If he is mad at the front office and wants out, his performance is not helping his arbitration or making him more attractive to other teams.
  11. Royce’s trajectory is heading in the right direction. He’s been playing solid defense and has some stolen bases. His hitting has been getting better and I agree that it appears he needs to simplify things at the plate. He’s got a 111 OPS+ for his career with some high highs and low lows. I realize there are a lot of “ifs” for this team going into 2026. But if Lewis can continue to play solid D and keep his OPS+ in the 110-120 range, I’ll sign up for that.
  12. I see Bader didn’t waste any time making his Phillies crop top. For Buck’s sake I hope FO and Pohlads put together a team that can compete in 2026.
  13. Tingler and Rocco are too similar and that is one of the problems.
  14. It’s obvious that there’s no love for Rocco on TD. I haven’t seen a lot of names so I’m wondering who you all think would be a good replacement? Plouffe recently threw out Torii Hunter on a Skor North podcast. I have been thinking on this since I heard it and it does make sense. I love the way Torii played the game and he was/is a fan favorite (at least in my circles). He’s currently a special advisor for the Angels so I don’t think it would take much to pry him away. I didn’t like seeing him in their dugout on the last LA trip.
  15. First time they’ve been shut out in a doubleheader since 1961.
  16. Fan appreciation weekend? I hope Falvey, Zoll, and the Pohlads are watching this. Absolute joke.
  17. Special kind of torture as we are helping the Guardos get into the playoffs.
  18. Gleeman: Joe Ryan has allowed 5+ runs in 5 of his last 10 starts. Ryan allowed 5+ runs in 5 of his previous 54 starts. Joe Ryan's career ERA by month: April — 2.77 May — 2.59 June — 4.25 July — 4.80 Aug. — 4.41 Sept. — 4.45
  19. So maybe he cannot pitch this far into the season? Hasn’t been able to due to injuries in prior seasons.
  20. Why sully a new manager with a 100 loss season in 2026. Let Rocco wear it.
  21. We’ll play spoilers this weekend, but it won’t be due to winning. Sorry Detroit Tigers, I’d rather see you guys in the playoffs than the Guardos.
  22. Depressing stats - Gleeman: With three more head-to-head matchups remaining, the Twins have lost the season series vs. the Guardians for the fourth consecutive year. They are 18-37 (.327) against Cleveland during that time, equivalent to a 53-109 record in a full season.
  23. BuxtonCF MartinLF Keaschall2B Lee, BSS Lewis, R3B Clemens1B McCuskerDH PeredaC OutmanRF
  24. Wallner to the IL (oblique) and Keirsey up. Wallner’s season effectively done.
