  1. On the contrary, why doesn't Tom Pohlad offer a nice "fair" contract to Ryan with some of the cash he tried to sign Valdez with?
  2. Absolutely not! Ryan is a great base to build off and to trade him would only disgruntled BB, Royce and others. To trade Ryan would only enhance the few faithful fans that remain and certainly gain fodder to the media to trash the already redhead stepchild in the room aka Tom P. To give this team any kind of relevance KEEP THE GOOD PLAYERS!
  3. One after another, uninspiring signing on and on it goes. How many more times can they insult the fan base? It looks more and more like a 100 loss season. I was hoping there was a glint of hope by them saying they plan on keeping Ryan and Lopez.....more and more I am thinking these two should ask for a trade. Unless they pitch like Koufax and Gibson there is hope, but only if they keep their ERA <2, because (my opinion) team BA will be below .210. When you have a lineup of 9 left handed Frank Quilicis' there is little hope to put crooked numbers on the scoreboard. I've attended many games over the years (starting in the 60's) but not lately with the SKY HIGH ticket prices and the lousy on field product. In the past I have subscribed to accounts to watch on TV, but probably not even that this year. Hard to be interested in this story book when the cover of this book is so blah. PS sign a RIGHT handed hitter! 'Nuff said from this disgruntled SDakota fan.
  4. Well if they trade Pablo/Joe he's as good as gone.
  5. No way, naadaa... proven starting pitcher for any bounce-back player??? Just a big fat NO.
  6. No to trading either Lewis or Wallner. I realize potential in only a word but if those two reach it the power they possess would go along way to making this team relevant; at least offensively. My 2¢¢ worth.
  7. Falvey is a joke and the joke is on us....he knows how to build a pitching staff huh....right and I have a bridge in Brooklyn I can sell you.
  8. Just maybe the youngsters will surprise all, and be competitive. That'd be SWEET !
  9. I too, am on the older side been a fan since day 1 of '61. At this point in time I would just like to see a competitive team, one that has a chance in most every game. To be talking WS is just a pipe dream as is a Super Bowl for the Vikes....Yikes!
  10. I still think Rocco was a puppet on strings even to the point of how he managed pitchers during games. Next guy might be walking the same "plank".
  11. If that puts a feather in his hat/cap do it. Whatever it takes to keep him content and remain a Twin.
  12. All in on Tori just sign him and see how it goes. He always seemed up tempo when playing give him a shot just as the Twins did in his playing days it seemed to work out then why not now?
  13. He threw a few too many meatballs in his September slump but no doubt; he's a keeper after the pen was fleeced, almost no choice as I see it.🤷‍♂️
  14. More than obvious by now but looks to me like Falvey is not the "Pitcher whisperer" we thought he was. We got the WRONG GUY. Who ever was the guy is still in Cleveland. Proof is in the pudding!
  15. The little bit of hope for this team is to start by retaining Lopez and Ryan. If that happens that light at the end of the tunnel might NOT be a train.
  16. Wait just a doggone minute....youngsters auditioning in September??? Génesis Cabrera, Thomas Hatch, Michael Tonkin, Ryan Fitzgerald, Mickey Gasper. James Outman, DaShawn Keirsey Jr. ,Cody Laweryson these young guys??? Who's Falldown Falvey kidding in baseball terms these guys are pretty much older than dirt. I see no future for any of these why not see what their top 4/5 prospects can do for the last 3 or 4 weeks of a lost season. They have to be thinking...."I must not be any better than them". Hit the road (Derek) Jack.🎶 ...and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more!🎶
  17. Good for Buck to tell it like it is. Wish him the best if he pivots and moves on, many like myself will remain fans/followers. Might be best for him to jump ship before the Titanics hits bottom!
  18. Like "Know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em 🎶" Kenny Ro(d)gers?
  19. Oh for the days of Hebie and Kirby....or even farther back of Harmon and Tony O!
  20. Agree whole heartedly, when I seen Keaschall sprinting all out down the first base line on a routine groundout, I thought that guy plays with heart/desire too bad the other deadbeats don't take the hint. I sure hope I see him playing that hard 3-4 years from now...PS he looked like a Brewer with that hustle.
  21. Being a fan since day 1 of 61 gonna be hard to give 'em up like booze or smokes but I'm gonna try...what a waste.
  22. I thought exactly the same thing. Buck is 17 for 17 in steals one of the fastest players in BB and he sits still on 2B when almost any ball in play he scores if on third, game over.
  23. Some things just never change, we always spit the bit against the pin stripes. It's only 3 games so maybe a little time to hit the fishing hole for the next couple of days and or check on the Vikings.🤷‍♂️
