    Well as it comes as no surprise with Buck, which is too bad. With his lack of durability the front office should have been a little better prepared months if not seasons ago by acquiring or developing a RH outfielder. To get a difference maker and turn the corner this season you might well have to give up a difference maker aka top prospect (s).

    Geez, don't trade him for prospects, just too many maybes with prospects. Do something right for a change and extend him. The guy is as close to an ace as we will ever have and pretty close to an iron horse. Open your eyes Tommy P., you have a star on your hands why trade him for unknowns? If you want to be swamped by more hate mail towards your family then, go ahead trade him for another Outman or two! That ought to put butts in the seats, yeah right!

    I just wish Tom P. would figure out a fair contract to keep Ryan for ~5 years. As far as contracts go BB is pretty much set. That to me is a great base to build on. So again to me no way do I trade either of these two. So though the team seems to hover in the middle to lower end of the pack. The Guardians know how to win, it seems to me the Twins, well, not so much. Find a power hitting 1B ( who can hit .260?) and develop a reliever or two and we can compete. Trading Ryan and BB for prospects is another shot across the bow that we are years away (STILL). Come on Pohlads' you talk the talk can you walk the walk?

    On the contrary, why doesn't Tom Pohlad offer a nice "fair" contract to Ryan with some of the cash he tried to sign Valdez with?

    Absolutely not! Ryan is a great base to build off and to trade him would only disgruntled BB, Royce and others. To trade Ryan would only enhance the few faithful fans that remain and certainly gain fodder to the media to trash the already redhead stepchild in the room aka Tom P. To give this team any kind of relevance KEEP THE GOOD PLAYERS!

    One after another, uninspiring signing on and on it goes. How many more times can they insult the fan base? It looks more and more like a 100 loss season. I was hoping there was a glint of hope by them saying they plan on keeping Ryan and Lopez.....more and more I am thinking these two should ask for a trade. Unless they pitch like Koufax and Gibson there is hope, but only if they keep their ERA <2, because (my opinion) team BA will be below .210. When you have a lineup of 9 left handed Frank Quilicis' there is little hope to put crooked numbers on the scoreboard. I've attended many games over the years (starting in the 60's) but not lately with the SKY HIGH ticket prices and the lousy on field product. In the past I have subscribed to accounts to watch on TV, but probably not even that this year. Hard to be interested in this story book when the cover of this book is so blah. PS sign a RIGHT handed hitter! 'Nuff said from this disgruntled SDakota fan.
