    I like this trade, Gordon didn't really have a position and the bullpen could use another lefty.

    Hate to see Polo go but they traded him at the height of his value and with a log jam of middle infielder prospects the move makes sense. Hope to see Brooks Lee with the MLB team sooner than later.

    With the lack of moves to this point, Mauer's HOF candidacy has been one of the more intriguing things about this Twins offseason.

    Instead of going with one of their starters e.g. Ryan and putting their faith that they will be able to spin a quality pitching performance their going with their bullpen that has been inconsistent at times with the expectation that they'll be able to throw 0's. Wasting Maeda and Ober yesterday in a blowout was bad but the decision to go with this plan tonight is horrendous and inexcusable.

    Win or lose tonight it's been a nice run. At the end of September I was diagnosed with several heart issues so getting to watch meaningful October Twins baseball has been such a nice distraction.
