Nice story and I wish him well, but he's not major league caliber...I don't know if he ever was. I don't know if he's even AAA caliber. Give him his release and see if he can latch on somewhere else. He's low level organizational depth at best.
It might be Pablo Day, but I don't think it's his night. We need to somehow get another inning out of him...maybe two...and not have the Cubbies score again. Then hope we can get to Imanaga, or their pen, and at least tie this thing up.
When I was young and stupid, I tried my share of various suspicious liquids. Many of them never again. That stuff is mighty nasty. Now that I'm old and still pretty stupid, I'll stick to an occasional glass of wine with dinner. No more experimenting for this fossil.
We need an ace level start from Pablo tonight. Imanaga is no slouch, and he's going to be tough for our righty platoon. Probably another low scoring game. GO TWINS!
He needs to hit...at least not be an automatic out, like he's been for months. His bat is the main reason he'd be playing, certainly not his defense. Vazquez is a far better defensive catcher. Let's hope he improves at the plate the rest of the way and starts to hit better.
