    Even if it only amounts to 73 votes it's important to eliminate voter fraud when possible. I get why certain people think voter fraud is fine but it defeats the purpose of having elections to go out of your way to allow it.

    I agree we should have one election day and you should have to prove who you are to vote in all 50 states.

    The 2015 federal budget according to the first thing that popped up on google is $3,800,000,000,000 or 3.8 trillion 0.1% of that is 3.8 billion 3.7 billion/535 is over $6.9 million (leaving $100 million left over for the president). I have a feeling we would get that kind of money back in savings day one.

    Rick Perry drops out. We are officially down to 16 with only 12 polling above 1 percent. While Perrys 1% support won't make much difference in future polls if next to none goes to Trump it could be the start of something that will become noticeable once a few more candidates drop hopefully following next weeks debate.

    The majority of Republicans were bashing Bush long before this jerk emerged. The difference between those people and Trump is they actually based their bashing on substance.

    I get that it doesn't work very well but we have term limits, they're called elections. They seem to prove that in reality people don't want term limits.

    He would but only because he wouldn't have treated his second term like a second term, if he was running on the record he now has I think he would come up about 2% short.

    Every once in a while I catch myself saying you tell em Trump, but the guy is a tremendous jerk. I know in a field of 17 he has a clear lead and for that the phrase front runner can be used and overused but he isn't winning this thing. Most Republicans don't like the guy.

    One thing Gardenhire really didn't do here is defensive shifts. If he doesn't do more of that he should be fired after a week.

    Based on what? I'm really low on Molitor, Gardenhire gets a lot of crap because teams who were 10 games out at the break with limited talent fell apart in the 2nd half. I don't care what a team does after it's over Gardenhire got teams where they were supposed to end up more often then not. As for the playoff record it's not good, but between small sample size and the fact they were playing very good teams I'm not sure it's a big deal.

    Supporting the player is a concept certain people don't understand. If thats the 3rd inning it's one thing, but in the 7th there is no excuse.

    Did I say 99% the call on the field was right? So in the last inning where challenges are available you would take a 1 in 100 gamble to get bases loaded nobody out? We see guys pop off bases and get calls overturned, if he's not clearly on the bag challenge it, and hope they find an angle you don't or they have better eyes then you. If you lose the challenge who cares?

    Third base coach who was right on top of it saw his foot was off as well. It wasn't off by enough to overturn, but the last replay seemed to show he was off by a hair. Put it this way no chance the call would have been reversed had it gone in the Twins favor, but I actually think there was a small chance the Twins would have won the challenge.

    You don't want to run out of challenges in the 7th, thanks to not challenging that they also had a chance to not challenge the grand slam!!!

    Fire Paul Molitor, showing up your third base coach and third baseman on an inconclusive play is pathetic. How many games is he going to decide not to do everything in his power to win. Yeah the end result would have 99% of been the call on the field but it's the 7th inning. That is complete incompetence.

    Unless they have a top 10 defense hold up on getting to excited, in 4 weeks theres probably a better chance TCU is outside of the top 25 then there is they remain in the top 5. The Gopher offense isn't horrible but it's not good. A true national title contender takes advantage of all the chances the Gophers gave them to put the game away.

    Stewart also hit .280 or whatever it was the first half of the season in the major leagues, huge difference. Unless Sano hit's 25 HR's and the Twins make the playoffs no way does he get a single vote.

    If you thought he had much shot at being a .270+ hitter this year you weren't paying attention. He's not a pure hitter and never will be, but I'll take saving a double on defense over hitting an extra double. Also lets forget what we've seen from Sano out of the gate cause that never happens. And lastly he's still at 81 at bats with an injury splitting that in half. If he turned 1 strikeout into a homerun and got a favorable call on one of the close plays at first his #'s would look fine.

    Get mauer out so sano can play 3rd makes complete sense plus Buxton struck out 4 times so get sano out.

    On second thought this suggests Molitor would have pinch hit for Kubel in game 2 versus New York in 2005?

    Unless Buxton was hurt I don't care if he had 4 HR's or 4 strikeouts, he's an OK hitter with speed, he has a decent chance of scoring on two singles either with a SB in between or forcing a bad throw with his speed. And if Herman hit's a HR or comes around to score another way I really don't like Buxton being out the rest of the night. Heck even if we score 3 as a result one hit to the gap that Buxton could have tracked down could give all that back.
