Meyer had been one of the Twins top (1-2) pitching prospects for years, who was acquired by trading away a stellar CF. He dominated in 2014, while the team was terrible, and yet never got an inning in the bigs that year. He came into 2015 ranked as a top 30 prospect in all of baseball. His dog dies (literally, his dog died), and he starts the season with 8 lousy starts (what was his BABIP during those starts?), and then he is demoted to the bullpen. He gets called up, finally, to the bullpen, and is given 2 appearances (2.2IP) before being demoted back to AAA. And then this year, which hardly needs rehashing. I stand by it...I think it has been three years of questionable decisions on his development and usage.
