  1. Burdi was nasty yesterday. 99, 97, 99, and then 84, 83. It's almost not fair.
  2. I had one yesterday. It's not to bad, but the chocolate overwhelms the key lime. Key lime alone would be better. Maybe tomorrow.
  3. It was mostly cloudy today so no need for sunglasses in the infield.
  4. Will do. I told them to get the shade but don't think they did, so I'll be moving around.
  5. I thought I'd seen some games go 10 innings if both managers agreed, but not past 10.
  6. If you should be around Hammond on away day games, I'll look for you. There is still a lot to watch on those days.
  7. For what it's worth, they are working Carlos Quinton heavy at 1st base.
  8. One of the coaches told the groundskeeper on the field next to the stadium "this is the last round of bp on this field this year". The same field that Johan Santana showed up at earlier this morning. A lady I know got his autograph and asked if he'd like to come back to the Twins. Yes. As a coach? No, as a pitcher. With all these arms down here that don't stand a chance they should have given him one too. Nothing to lose.
  9. Yesterday after batting practice the team had what they hope is the starting outfield on one of the half fields getting talked to by a coach. Rosario, Buxton and Sano.
  10. If it's a day game, around 9. I may be late as I'm moving to another place to stay.
  11. Wednesday they will practice here, as the game is against Boston, and more than likely many will remain behind. Should be a good day to see those left back at home.
  12. Well I was all over, but started by the bullpen tables as they were late coming out. Then went up into the stadium to watch the drills, not surprising you didn't see me as people 3 deep at the railings. Then I went to the far end and watched Sano, Rosario and that group take bp, then back under by the bullpen. Are you going tomorrow?
  13. Murphy will show you some stick. Arcia is running hit butt off and all the players are busting butts while still having fun. DanSan hasn't walked much this spring from station to station.
  14. Your questions are all for the season, not for spring training. What I'm really interested in is what they do with Park, and Arcia. Do we really need both? That and what happens to Nolasco.
  15. They really aren't very good looking. Not red but more like a pale tomato.
  16. Nobody, miss read the post where Molly said not this year.
  17. Never say never. Sano should be playing 3rd and I say he will be some time this season. So far watching him in the outfield is a comedy.
  18. Late start this morning as physicals were given. After a while all the players were on the stadium field and a lot of formal instruction given. They did everything from outfielders fielding the ball at the fence and the relays home to charging singles and throwing home, with the pitchers being a cutoff man. Balls to right, the left fielder backing up 3rd. Run downs were practiced, hot boxes, etc. finally they broke off and used 3 fields for bp and live bp. Vargas hit 2 out of the park off Perkins I was told. The pitchers throw live bp every two days now, about 40 pitches the first time out and then up to 60 the second. Only one more day of practice before the first game. I don't know why they start so late.
