    Um, they rushed Parmelee? 6 years in the minors for the #20 pick in the 2006 draft? Exactly this is Parmelee's last year to prove he can be an everyday MLB player. If he doesnt prove he can play he will be worth ass much as Clement who we just signed. Im a big Parmelee fan however, so im hoping he can prove he can be a solid Major League Player.

    Okay guys...the ONLY reason the Cubs signed Baker and Feldman is to hope they show they are healthy and can be somewhat good in a possible attempt to then dump them midseason in hopes to get a decent prospect. The only way people want to go to the crappy Cubs is if they overpaid and that they did for Feldman and Baker.

    Jurrjens, John Lannan , Kyle McClellen and Sean Rodriguez i would certainly be interested in going after. John Lannan is a proven pitcher with lifetime ERA of just above 4. Jurrjiens im kind of iffy about do to the fact he just seems like a right handed Liriano. McClellen at one time was good relief pitcher but was thrust into a starting role last year and was injured. Sean Rodrgiuez is a proven utility infielder who i think is better then Escobar or Florimon.

    Reds need a leadoff hitter and a CF very badly. Their leadoff hitters had a sub .300 OBP last year. They also need another corner outfielder or resign Ludwick. Willingham would be a better/cheaper option and would probably hit 40 HR in that park. The Reds are really just giving up some prospects in a win-now trade. It makes sense although none of these type of trades ever happen. I'd be happy to leave Hamilton out and add another pitcher but it's not an absurd trade proposal. I certainly agree. The only way they Reds make this trade is if they are all in to win now. I as well would not mind removing Hamilton and adding a pitcher who has more upside than the ones proposed. The pitchers who the Reds would be giving up are solid 3's or 4's at best. I think if we removed Hamilton the reds could possibly throw in a pitcher with the upside of a soild number 2. I dont think we need Hamilton either giving he is a CF now, if he was a SS or 2nd baseman this would be an amazing trade but we have such a log jam we dont need him.

Thoughts?

    Pavano was a nice acquisition a couple years ago and he was a true player while he was with the Twins. But...He just doesnt have it anymore. Go take your millions and super hot wife and retire Pavano.

    Sure is. Just look at how easy it was for the Pohlads to spend a half billion of other people's money on their new stadium. What's hard seems to be for them to spend their own money. Pohlads will never spend their own money to improve this team. The day they do is when pigs fly.

    Anthony Slama. I wouldnt refer to Slama as a prospect anymore. I dont think anyone should have high expectations for him anymore either. Seems like he is and always be just a good minor league pitcher. A fine line between trying for a quick joke and trolling. Maybe I eradicated that line, this time. I wasnt kidding and im not a troll. Its reality. Slama is just a good minor league pitcher at best.

    one of those players signed a $16,000,000.00 contract. The other signed a $16.00 contract. exactly.

    Beson will probably do only slight better than last year (Gut feeling). I remember Keith Law saying he isnt a big fan of Berrios due to the fact he thinks his stuff wont get any better and eventually hitters will catch up.
