    And this year ? We need 3 pretty good pitchers and infield help. What did we get ? we got 31 million extra for ownership .... This years team was put together to have a fire sale, but has overachived.

    Well with Boston leading the division , They may be willing to pay to win this year. Also they would get 2 reletivly cheap solutions for the next 3 years and a left handed Rbi gold glove 1st baseman ....Add in a couple of prospects,who knows.If we are not going to get a good package for Glen , then dont trade him

    Cleveland and Boston are better fits, with better prospect returns . As for trading Perkins for A ball players, that is not an option . If traded ,we need to get AA or better prospects. Cleveland has AA shortstop Ronny Rodriquez and RHP Danny Salazar. Boston has the # 3 prospect at SS in Bogaerts, but we could build a package for him and a couple others,Think Justin, Trevor and Glen Perkins plus a couple 10-20 ranked prospects for Middlebrook,Allen Webster,and Bogaerts

    Justin is on pace for 100 RBIs and a .290 avg. while playing gold glove 1b...Just saying

    Sophmore jinx? Bad pitch calling? More then likely his elbow is bothering him , as many believe bone chips are the precurser to TJ surgery.My solution for Scotty is the same as it is for Worely,shut them down for the season, have them play winter ball after christmas, if there is any elbow problems get them cut on and hope we can use them in 2015 either as starters or as trade bait for players who can help us

    Isint A. Diaz now a Mexican citizen , and elidgible to be signed as a International free agent? With the Twins out of the Gonzales derby(40 to 60 million) How about making SS a priority on July 2nd?

    It was a shot at 2 regimes in charge of the Twins , 1 Bill who watched tapes with his senor adviser and assistant gm and made a bid on a player they never saw in person . 2. On the current regime who did nothing to fix the gapping hole which is the middle infield

    To me there are a few teams who would be good trade partners. 1.Boston, but not just a 1 for 1 trade, I propose Perks,Plouffe,Morneau,Boyd and Williams for Bogaerts,Middlwbrooke and Allen Webster. 2 The Indians,Once again a multiy player trade Perkins, Justin and Albers for SS Ronny Rodriquez and RHP Danny Salazar. In the trade to Boston , this opens up a chance to call up Romero and Colabello ,and give them a shot, and a long look,It also gives us a decent replacement in Middlebrooke In the Cleveland trade it gives us a player to add into the mix at SS and 2b ,and another quality starter who is near ready in both players, building towards 2015

    So a guy who is hitting near Nishi level is a pleasent surprise? Me thinks we need to be targeting a couple of shortstops in this Internatiol signing season,and if we are to trade perkins , We need to get either a near ready front of the rotation starting pitching or a near ready shortstop.

    There is no discussion needed....If we are to trade Glen , then we need to get help, not A level help , But help that is near ready or ready now. It also should be a piece we dont have whos ready or near ready. A shortstop a front of the rotation starting pitcher...If not Perkins is only 30 and has a geat contract....

    They also need catching , so would we or could we garner Gary Sanchez, there high A catcher for Justkn and Doumit? or is Campos more realistic|?
