    It comes down to sportsmanship. If your up by 7 in the eighth and you're stealing bases, that is poor sportsmanship. That is what gets other players hurt, and why take a chance when you are up.

    I dont think there was any market for Morneau last winter. Heck, there wasnt a huge market for him at the end of July.

    I saw this trade on Twitter and wanted thoughts. We trade Buxton snd Deduno for Niese and Synoground. Would you consider this? I dont like it. Buxton is worth more than that, and to me he's someone you build around.

    Jamey Carroll is what he is. A guy that can play multiple positions well,take pitches and play hard. We knew he was a goner, but i wish him well.

    I wont say Hicks didn't deserve to be demoted, but why now?

    This is frusrating to me. Sure tje international market is better than it was. But the Cubs strategy shows it is not perfect.

    I think the problem is, after nishi, they are gonna be a little leery on some of these established international guys. Just my thought.

    I liked Morris as well. Smalley annoys me, i mute the TV whenever he is on.

    Not a fan of sending Arcia down, but maybe does need some work. Parm i felt never got te chace to get untracked.

    Im hoping he is holding out for when Sano, Rosario , Buxton and others are ready.

    The Twins arent ready to make that jump to 90 wins.

    I think for the Twins to trade Mauer it would take several top prospects , maybe more. I just dont see anyone doing that and taking on that salary. I think Fien, Doumit, and Morneau are more likely to move.

    Honestly, if Gardenhire leaves, quits, whatever one person keeps popping in my head. Terry Steinbach. Just a hunch.

    I may be in the minority here, but i want Plouffe to stay. He needs to be more consistant, but i do like his bat.

    I have no problem with Hicks being up here. The kids need to play and i do think he will be solid in time. That and giving at bats to Thomas or Richardson makes no sense when we are still rebuilding.
