  1. Greene wasn't a consensus #1. He's a gamble, just like the others. As far as pitching goes, we still have 30 plus rounds. Relax
  2. I don't buy him gaining velocity if he gives up hitting. I just dont
  3. Well he is a lefty, which is a plus for me. Hope he proves me wrong if he's the pick.
  4. I would rather follow the possibility of a two way star and Shane Baz
  5. Greene has talent, no doubt. But it's a huge risk taking a guy with just one plus plus pitch. Velocity alone isn't enough. Pat Light can hit 100 too.
  6. So who makes the final call? Sean Johnson? Falvey?
  7. I like that there is healthy discussion. I suppose McKay could turn into a Tom Glavine type. Doesn't throw overly hard, but has control and hits his spots.
  8. For me, I don't care about his lack of velocity. I just am concerned that he was losing velocity at the end of the season.
  9. It will be interesting what they do if it's McKay. I think his bat is better than his pitching at this point.
  10. I wouldn't say it won't happen. Even with cutting a deal Lewis would be making more money and so would boras
  11. I think Romero drops more than people think. And I don't think he's in play at 35 or 37. I'm thinking prep arms.
  12. Lewis would save money, for sure. His swing has too many holes for my liking. We would really have to nail the next few picks for me to be ok with this.
  13. Could be worse. Gotta think Belisle either ends on the DL with some ailment or is released. He has the numbers of an aging slo pitch pitcher
  14. So we weren't able to spare a bag of balls for Dyson?
  15. It's just frustrating. I grew up in a time when we could find relievers from anywhere. For Christ sakes, Carl Willis was effective.
  16. Lewis has too many bat issues to take 1st
  17. I see little reason to hold back Curtiss. Something has to be done.
  18. A former manager would of said it's because he battles his tail off. That's the problem with the bullpen. Oh and a lack of talent
  19. He was ok. Needs to locate his curve better.
  20. He had a rough inning, but I do like his stuff. Dodged a bullet when he left his curve up to Posey, though
  21. So with McKay do you let him hit on his off days? Like I've said I like his bat more than his pitching.
  22. I'm pretty excited for Turley. Good to see a kids hard work possibly pay off. Best of luck!!
