  1. He is lousy at short on a good day, simple as that because his record shows it.
  2. It is not the numbers it is the style; Arraez does not compare but I do believe he makes ptichers nervous right now.
  3. Polanco at SS Twins will lose 100 games.
  4. It is not meaningless baseball, it exposes that the Twins have no idea how to hire a competent manager.
  5. Taking rookie pitchers and sending them to NY to get their butts handed to them would not be good baseballs, it is asininely stupid baseball.
  6. The Yankees handed the Twins their buttocks and about the only team the Twins can probably beat in the next month is Cleveland so it looks rather dire.
  7. They have no crystal ball to see who will do what, all they can do is play them and observe.
  8. A LOT of people on this site are having conniptions about Simmons batting average, while ignoring his superior fielding skills so preach your number games some where else.
  9. Is there another way of determining how often one HAS ACTUALLY hit the ball fair, not fantasy league let's pretend?
  10. I look at actual results , not some pie-in-sky numbers that are based on a mathematical formula that has never played a game. How rookies made the big show before bookie numbers replaced actual results.
  11. I do not dislike him but he is slow with a weak arm, some thing the Twins cannot afford with their some times ineptitude in the field. Garlick or Refsnyder are much better, therefore; Larnach should spend a year of time in AAA to see if what you see is all that you will ever get. A veteran OF with a accurate strong arm would be best but Garlick or Refsnyder look good; I do not see Rooker as any better than Larnach, at this point.
  12. At age 24 Young had 81 strike-outs in 153 games, the most he ever had was 127 in 162 games. Larnach had 104 strike-outs in 79 games. Those numbers speak for them selves; Young's problem was his attitude, not his skills.
  13. As you said just one game; TOMORROW will be more important that we thought earlier.
  14. I had hopes after the past few games when they head to New York for the Yankees; that is fading fast with this lifeless game.
  15. Nope down the middle and just watched it. As I said the 2021 Twins we were used to are back.
  16. Commentors making all kinds of excuses for Garver's strike-out.
  17. As is, if the Twins lose it will not be because of an error, for what that is worth. 100 mph pitcher, hit it and it will go a long ways.
  18. They should have seen if Gordon could steal home; success would have screwed with Clevelands heads, failure still have runner on 2nd and 3rd.
  19. Arraez sank, the 2021 Twins are back.
  20. Teams have beaten the Twins with base stealing why do they not turn Gordon loose.
  21. What in heaven's name is Kepler waiting for? OH, a crappy pitches not down the pipe.
  22. BINGO, did not chase crap pitches.
  23. IF, if he gets a hit, or at least not an out, it will serve him greatly.
  24. If those numbers you are infatuated with determined who would be in the Hall of Fame, it would be a LOT smaller now than it is.
