  1. The Twins should have never let Robbie Grossman go and kept him instead of Cave, or kept both, as the year they were both on the team Cave had more HR pop but Grossman had a better BA.
  2. I have never said boo about his batting average, only about his hitting in that he too often watches a third strike go by and too often looks like a wind-up toy dancing while batting. (To be more severe, he looks like a spoiled brat not getting his way.) It is his POOR fielding that I have "ragged" on all season.? I go by what I see, not some math nerd numbers that so many are infatuated with.
  3. I have read in baseball news high-lights that umpires with supposed game changing obtuse calls is not rare nor aimed at the Twins only.
  4. His defense is at best average and too often worse.
  5. Why, Cave II? Cave is mobile, something most of the rookies are not.
  6. He is a rookie, wait till next year; it could have been much, much worse.
  7. Rondell White earned his keep in the 2006 play off games.
  8. Really now, hmmm: Rdrs/yr SS Simmons 22 Rdrs/yr SS Florimon 7 WOW, they are the same if you are blind in one eye and cannot see out of the other. LOL ?
  9. The dissing of Simmons is here, is based purely on bias -- I don;t like his style, therefore; he is bad -- grade school prejudice. He, in his career, had only one season with a goodly number of home runs and one year with a large number of RBIs, but his career batting average , even with this years slump is still .265, and he hit .281/78/92 in 2016/17/18 so stick your childish hatred for him in your back-pocket and stick to the facts. I personally like his laissez faire attitude even over Astudillo's who looks like he is annoyed with some thing, or Polanco who looks like a deer in the head-lights.
  10. If he had he would be in the Majors; he is not, so he has not.
  11. He is there because the coaches on both sides think he should be.
  12. Bingo, jeffer's is lousy at blocking balls; commentators early in the year said the way he sits is gong to be a problem.
  13. Astudillo is a better catcher than Jeffers and a much better hitter.
  14. Twins wanted to win a game , not have a rookie blown out.
  15. Because his defense is worlds better than anyone else on the team, THAT is why he was hired.?
  16. No Baldelli and Twins win again, hmmmm.
  17. I do believe he thinks every player on the team is inexplicable.
  18. LOL, but I do like his speed; to see him and Bux on the bases at the same time would be interesting; maybe the Twins can get a steal pf home again.
  19. Yes lets return to the hey-days of 1971-1980 ; a .500 season is a good year and 1 million fans is fantastic years.
  20. If the Pohlads allowed Baldelli to start putting AAA much less AA players in to expose their failings , would not hit 100 losses but would get close enough to it to see empty stands which is the last thing the Pohlands want.
  21. 100 plus losses here we come.
  22. Yeah let's bring up unknown q, k or g they may suck but then we can bring up h, j or m and if they suck we can....
