  1. The words they write about him contradict that, but that is your opinion and I have mine. I will admit he was bad last year, have gone from 10-0 in 2021 stealing bases to 3-2 which meant some thing had changed drastically in the way he approached the game.
  2. People just do not like Max Kepler it is simple as that, they do not need a reason.
  3. Jeffers is doing very well with the bat but Vasquez defense numbers are still superior. At that, Jeffers change from last year is a very good thing.
  4. In reality a win, is a win, but the Twins are doing better, with hitting, than beating KC 2-0 as we did in the first two games this year.
  5. That is a crapshoot, using known stats probabiity verses unknown probablility. Works OK in the Minors, but even by AAA odds are not good.
  6. Yeah he is the reason they lost again -- good grief. Hopefully Miranda is not around long. 1
  7. In 14 years Kepler has 17 errors in RF. In 6 years Wallner has 28 errors in RF Wallner would be a huge detriment.
  8. Better tnan Famer and Solano, could be; Castro is a far, far superior Third Baseman.
  9. It looks like a good lineup, more similar to those that helped the Twins out do the Yankees. Jeffers at catcher, well, his bat is the better of the two.
  10. How many sub-fivehundred years do you want to suffer through?
  11. They are only presumed high quality , what they might bring would show if that presumtion is shared by other teams.
  12. Two weeks from now we will know better who is what, and what goes where. We beat the Yankees and Astros, although those starting teams are changed, no reason they cannot do the same in the next two weeks.
  13. He fielding is no better than Nick Maton, who was sent to AAA after the game, his bat is keeping him here but for how long.
  14. "Defensively, Lewis has had some initial struggles with accurately throwing the ball to first after ranging to his left or right. However, he has shown continual progression as a near-everyday third baseman while making the occasional spectacular play." His bat is good, his fielding is not good.
  15. I used Kirilloff as they have a similar number of game played. AAA is for adapting not the Majors, unless you want the Twins to be a AAA team in the wrong league. Other teams have had rookies come up and show the majors is where they belong, no one, not a pitcher, has done that, with the possible exception of Arraez and he is no longer a rookie. Perhaps some here think there is another Big Pappy just waiting to blossom, but if not, no great loss except games.
  16. Well Kirilloff, whose is doing well and should remain, and Kepler have similar number of games but Kepler has 9 more rbi than Kirilloff. So just how are Kepler and Gallo killing the team? Gallo has same number of Ks as Buxton, and Kepler has 2 more Ks than Julien.
  17. Possibly just as you and some others are bot programmed to believe the rookies that so far have been meh are going to suddenly turn into super stars, could be.
  18. You may be too young to remember, but I remember well the 1970s when a lot of rookies came up and the best were no better than the ones they replaced, the rest....
  19. It would have been nice to have kept Arraez and let the Twins get another batting title , but him not being would have had zero affect on where the Twins would be now. He is not a miracle worker, just an old school style batter.
  20. BINGO I am sure the fans in the stands want to see the Twins team turn into an extended AAA team, or maybe be really good like Oakland. Throw the dice, fans don't care.
  21. If Larnach was that good he would not be in St.Paul.
