    I watch the game , is it the same as it once was , no it is not , players used to put on a show for the fans , it seems for the past decade or so the players put on a show for themselves ( correct me if im wrong ) ... I used to like going to the games and punching out the ballots , now we have to go online to do it , it just doesn't feel like your participating in that part of game ( correct me if im wrong ) I watch it because of quality pitching , alot of the pitchers in 2025 Allstar game were number 1 draft choices and are very good pitchers , a few weren't but they performed well ( ryan experience ) ... drafting pitchers in round 1 doesn't always work out but there was plenty of them tonight on both sides ... Usually the games have been low scoring and the pitchers dominate , national league went up 6-0 by hitting a couple of pitchers and American league came back against a couple of pitchers and tied it in the ninth ( good game pitching , hitting and defense ) , it ended in a tie ... but won by the swing off so on record the national league won it ... I watch it because I have a passion for baseball ... Thanks Mike , the allstar game can be boring , but tonights game wasn't ... If wallner was in the allstar game he would have been taping his hat for sure ...

    He probably needs to play overseas Japan or Korea or Mexico league if he wants some kind of a career ...

    Was a weak draft in my opinion , but yes I'm satisfied with the first 4 picks on Day one ... There could be sleepers in the next 17 picks , that's up to coaches to develop the talent to find that diamond in the ruff .... We've been spoiled with some recent good good drafts the past 3 years ... Why no catcher drafted is an interesting observation , do we possibly get that mlb ready catcher in a deadline trade , I really don't know if I want rushing the dodger catcher / leftfielder , from what I've heard , his defense at catcher needs work , can we or do we want to fix that ...

    Wasn't one of our drafted catchers from 2024 let go for telling the other players opponents what pitch was coming ...

    The perception of alot these drafted players is basically how they did in 2025 high school and college ... I sure hope the draft yesterday that those drafted through 3 rounds showed consistent improvements each year and consistency is the key word ... I'm sure they've all been followed by scouts for some years But these later rounds they may be picking because of signability or speculation on future development and had a good year only in 2025 to raise there draft stock ...

    His father was a leftfielder , if he's not projected to stick on the dirt , don't hesitate, play him right away in outfield , don't wait until he arrives in the mlb ... That's my grief with this current development of players , they try to make a player he hasn't been in the minors at the major league level adding to much pressure to the player ...

    Young pitchers not allowed to face line up for third time through the order ... You'd think we would or could get used to Rocco pulling the pitcher early , but it's not that easy to get used to it or really anything Rocco does ... Sorry Rocco fans I couldn't resist...

    Everyone likes Ryan , nobody wants to trade him , probably even the twins FO doesn't want to trade him but with his value high and a demand for him , they have to listen , gauge what he's worth with 2 1/2 years left plus qualifying offer or draft compensation , he won't be worth as much at next year's deadline if we are out of it because the team trading for him would only have him under control for 1 1/2 years plus the qualifying offer if accepts or draft compensation if he turns it down ... We have had decent starting pitching for a few years now , it's a strength , you trade from strength to acquire players to fill a weakness ... If it can help us this year and next year and beyond you have to consider trading Ryan ... I don't think it will happen , but there's probably a 20 percent chance it could ..

    Two great wins in arow , beating skenes was nerve wracking 2-1 , but the team pulled together as a group and won it ... Today a double digit win , early scoring with Clemens clutch 3 run homerun for a crooked number inning , they added on the next inning as well and didn't quit there and added a few extra runs in later innings ... Everyone participated in this win but buxtons 5 for 5 day and it includes hitting for the cycle is definitely Kirby Puckett flashback memories ... 14 hits for the offense was sure a welcomed surprise ... Sands 2 innings , Adam's 4 innings , dfa pitcher 1 1/3rd inning and 2 runs for mop up , topa finished with 1 2/3rd innings and the twins had a 12 - 4 win , pitching only gave up 6 hits Game ball buxton , honorable mention , Clemens and Adam's ... I didn't see Adam's pitch his first game , was his second game about the same or better , I'd appreciate a feedback on Adam's ...

    Polanco trade hasn't been all that good , gotta hope Gonzales makes a good impact , he's doing fine in AA ... The twins win with double digits , BUCK gets game ball for first ever cycle at target field ... Honorable mention , Clemens for getting first blood with a clutch 3 run homerun to get the scoring started ...
