    My understanding from draft tracker that fo tried to be sneaky and pass headrick through ... Their thought process according to draft tracker was they wanted to try and pass headrick through because most 40 man rosters are full , they thought it would be harder to pass him through before players could go on 60 day IL and vacate a roster spot to add ... Falvey again proves his ineptitude at judging other mlb teams ... Gasper or camargo would have been a better choice to try and pass through , we've lost two pitchers for nothing and every team is looking for pitching ...

    Headrick to Yankees has a goid chance if he performs well in spring training , Yankees are short on bullpen lefthanders and they like multiple lefthanders in their bullpen ... Henrique to Miami is out of options so if he too performs well should make the team , Henrique is only 24 ... Helman to the cardinals is hopefully a good move for him and because of his versatility has a good shot at furthering his career ... HHH - Hubert H Humphrey Dome , demolished ... To bad falvey doesn't have an H in his name and we could possibly find a taker to hire him ...

    Diamonds in the rough , don't we have that in our prospects ... If falvey thinks these players are better than our prospects and keeps them at AAA than I think Falvey is failing at his job ... DJL44 stated we hoard and don't play our prospects and I'd have to agree with that assessment ... Do some of our prospects need refining in AAA , YES

    Floor player depth ... Not to my liking , Ty France isn't guaranteed a contract from my understanding , but most likely will make the team unless Ford over achieves in soring training and that will push Lee, Martin and especially Julian to AAA ... France Defense isn't rated very high at any infield position and his hitting has been close to average when healthy ... Bader with good defense and no bat will push Martin and Keirsey Jr to AAA ... Coloumbe was a needed lefthanded option in the bullpen and has decent numbers , let's hope he continues ... We need hitters and the FO went out and really got nothing to raise the floor in the lineup , add up the acquisitions and they don't add up to anything , add up the projected salaries and we could have signed at least one player better then the 4 mentioned ( Ford , bader , France and Coloumbe ) ... The FO is competing for fans to return and a divisional title and not a world series , I'm a fan of twins baseball but I won't be attending any games because I too can do anything with my money ... Inspiration : Yankees manager Boone has been quoted telling the players to be hungry , take the bull by the horns and get that 28th world series victory ... Rocco tells his players if they don't need batting or infield practice , just come ready to play ..

    I did not read the article ... I would not buy a ticket to watch these last 3 added players ... How to draw fans , sign or trade for players that the fans will pay to see ... Correct me if I'm wrong ,,, Another player that doesn't have that great of bat And I'm not sure what his defense is like , he's bounced around from team to team the past few years ... Another player to take a rookies position , is there even going to be young player on the team , we are getting extremly old ...

    Yes they do get paid well if they perform , that is why I mentioned the incentives would have to be hefty well beyond what they would make in arb years or free agency ... Base pay and performance incentives , if the player believes in himself and performs , he makes better than arb years and a couple of free agent years ...

    Start thinking outside the box ... go to the player and say we like you and want to extend you as you fit into our future , but we want you to work your tail off so we are going to extend some years of control with a base salary and if you work your tail off and reach a certain criteria we will pay you incentives , the incentives would need to be hefty and more than the player would earn in arbitration or free agency ... Like I said work your tail off and make good money with the incentives , Just a thought ...

    Sat-tire , mocking the front office on their words , not mine .. the twins have a plan to rest players so they stay fresh and injury free ... Maybe they should be more creative in that aspect and rest the players for the whole season To prevent an injury ... I guess we'll wait and see how spring training goes ... Seriously now , we need healthy players , but we need the regulars to play more game reps so they are ready for the start of the season , they have been slow to start the season the past few years because they don't get game reps and they are behind being ready against pitching , my understanding is they do practice on the practice field and play in games at Hammond field but don't travel on the bus to visit away games , a short bus ride , What are we paying these guys for ... Entertainment does come at a cost to the players , but not coming into the season prepared to play and compete comes as a cost to the fans ...

    Because he is a yes man , the front office should stay out of the game and let a manager manage his own game , but Rocco hired on knowing he had to be a follower of FO .... The blame is on both of them and their philosophy of the game today , sure wish they implement some old methods of the game , and by the way , resting players regularly is not helping our players stay healthy ... If you want energy , you have to burn energy to make energy but today's dollars zap the energy out of today's players , if only they had a passion for the game , if you have passion in everything you do , you will succeed in life ... when i cleaned the barn i didn't like it , but it had to be done , so i did it knowing my family counted on me and helped put food on the table , i did it with passion and i miss the farm I grew up on ... It would be nice if the front office worked with a passion and would communicate truthfully instead of the mularky they always try to make us fans believe ...

    Helman was traded for cash so twins could have a roster spot on the 40 man roster for coloumbe , then the dfa'd henrique to make room for Bader , We have a full 40 man roster , ecerytime we add a major league player , we have to let a younger player go ...

    You can wish in one hand and c**p in the other and see which one weighs more ,.. Speaking of weighing more , Rocco and FO has weighted down the twins players , our prospects are showing that once they reach the MLB level ... Arraez was the last player to run with the opportunity and he wasn't even a prospect on the radar , Lewis has shown flashes in 3 injury filled seasons , but his collapse last season in second half for now has fans wondering what to expect ...

    It was a good read of an analysis of Bader and of the inconsistency of our hitters , they are frustrating to watch the batters, swinging hard with no approach other than swinging for the fences ... I sure hope the new hitting coaches can influence the hitters to adjust to where the ball is pitched , if it's on the outside of the plate , take it the other way , if our hitters were more disciplined they would see better pitches to hit and the occasional homerun will come ... We need disciplined hitters pure and simple, we need defense too ... Pitching is our strength ... Was Bader the right choice , we'll have to wait and see , sure hope he doesn't get the Margot syndrome and tank ...

    If they were to trade the VERSATILITY of castro , I sure hope the front office is smart enough to get a future catcher in return , they could have thrown in henrique too , whom someone is is going to get for nothing ... How creative was that ... 40 man rosters are pretty much full for most teams so I'm not sure we would get a good package unloading castros contract even though he was voted twins MVP and an allstar for 2024 ...

    Good article ... Willie is a versatile athletic player , Willie had a resurgence with the twins for a year and a half but that second half slump concerns me , was it overuse and lack of stamina or is he back to his detroit numbers after his good rookie season ... I cant resist .... The only square peg in a round hole is our FO and owners ...

    I stated a day or so after the signings of coloumbe and bader that the pohlads are looking for love by trying to win back the fans by increasing their payroll ... Ain't happening here , I'm still not spending any of my money , I passed on twins fest , I'll be in Florida playing softball soon and don't plan on spending any money on spring training and I'm still not planning on buying tickets at target field or any fan apparel ... I still have rocco's jersey thats full of holes from playing darts during the games , thats what I think of the twins management ... Another statement i've made several times is the twins will never win a world series with Rocco as manager and tingler as bench coach , they just can't seem to light a fire in their players ... I still see this team as a 3rd or 4th place finish unless the 3 new hitting coaches do some magic , jo-bo where are you ...

    Article has Julian in the equation to play firstbase , if Julien is going to be positioned at firstbase it should be in AAA , Julien needs to clear his head and earn his way back to the show , his hitting and defense were terrible last year ... If luis arraez can play firstbase , then the athleticism of castro should allow him to play fistbase with Miranda splitting time ... Larnach should be the one twins management should be considering on transitioning him to firstbase , twins like versatility make larnach a versatile player at first and outfield ... Then there is ford on a minor league contract and not on the 40 man roster , most likely destined for AAA ..

    Comparing Bader to the others is fine , I wish a more indepth comparison of free agent players signed early for same amount of money Bader may get with incentives could have been done ... How many in the same price range that could hit better and field just as well as bader signed in free agency earlier , guess I'm off to FA tracker ... Edited less than 10 minutes after posted ... Wasn't much to compare in the price range of Bader , the good ones got mega money and years , in other words ( out of price range ) ...

    Teams have to like what players we have , so far no one has been traded ... I guess falvey thinks he has a gold mine to sell and the asking price hasn't been met ... Are the twins going to have a larger payroll or are they still planning on reducing payroll with trades , it's anyone's guess as we are once again left in the dark ... Maybe the pohlads are looking for love and realized their mistake and are trying to capture the love of fans by raising payroll on there way out ..

    I don't know if they're 2 different things , I will say they are 2 different people ... Ryan liked to draft pitchers and centerfielders in the first round , but had a few like Mauer that were not ... Falvine liked to draft shortstops that are athletic with exception of Jenkins and sabato in the first round , its really a small sample size compared with ryans years ...

    Yes , I did ... He had good ones to and im sure you know who the are ... Falvey has had a few good ones but the jury is still out , except for the sabato and cavaco they were a bust 2 years in arow 2019 and 2020 ... Do you know if sabato is still in our organization ???

    Yep , it's going to be Gasper or I think headrick next since we already traded a position player , headrick dfa'd because of coloumbe signing ... They've carried headrick but have no confidence in him , so why hang on to him any farther ...

    Ryan was a well respected baseball man and still is in the Phillies organization ... If Ryan was given an open wallet like falvine had been given , he would have addressed our needs alot better , Ryan was very good at talent evaluation , some might disagree with that , but he was a workhorse always scouting other teams players ...
