Did 1987 world series sound like a solid rotation , yes sweet music and Bert were solid , but straker was the third pitcher , we had solid bullpen arms ...

I surely wasn't expecting this , he's been experiencing this his last couple of starts , the one in Seattle where he gave up 4 runs in first inning but through a total of ⁵⁵7 innings and then against the Athletics he went 5 and got the win , I did mention in that game on the game thread that I thought his delivery was funky , so maybe he was favoring his shoulder while pitching .... Can never have to much pitching , we are not half way through this season and twins have another pitcher on the IL list ... SWR pitching good in AAA , no reason he can't pitch well up here again ...

I've made statements that we will know the real identity of the twins by the end of June , sadly we just might not have to wait till then ... Pitchers , there out there to succeed in getting batters out , regardless of how many runners they put on base ... Batters are to get on base and make adjustments and succeed driving in ducks on the pond ( runs ) ... Manager : The twins identity is they have a manager that should be given a pink slip , but continues to be at the helm and has job security , he has no worries about being let go because falvey and baldelli are joined at the hip ... The twins pitchers failed late and the Toronto hitters succeeded in driving in runs ... The toronto pitchers succeeded and twins batters just plain failed , I think they failed twice with the bases loaded today ... The identity is coming into focus , I was hoping that the Twins batters would be the players that played in May , not the players that played in April ... Time for this pohlad job security to change , I've stated for years that we will never win with baldelli managing , he can't get his players to play a game of baseball the way it should be played and these players should be much better if they were only managed with better discipline ...

There excuse for the losses of the past 2 games was ( a long and tiring road trip ) ... SURE HOPE THEY DON'T USE THAT EXCUSE FOR A LONG AND TIRING SEASON ...

Seems like the homeplate umpires gets the most notice but really all the umpires need glasses ,
  13. Blyleven2011
The umps have gotten worse and worse since they did away with the exclusive American league umpires and the exclusive national league umpires ... Man they are and have been bad since ... That's my story and I'll stick to it ...
  14. Blyleven2011
It's the way of the world , out with the old and in with the new , what a crock ...
  15. Blyleven2011
No math and no politics , but I have to concur Another tax payers dolkar at work , what a waste ...
  16. Blyleven2011
It's not how you win or lose , it's all about how you play the game and how you look .... Catcher looks like a bumble bee with the yellow gear ..
  17. Blyleven2011
Yes , every game and win do matter ...
  18. Blyleven2011
Better than the previous day is the report ..
  19. Blyleven2011
The twins are waiting to win in dramatic fashion , bottom of the ninth walk off ... Be positive during the game Peter, you can write negative responses on the game site after the game is finished and we will listen more closely ...
  20. Blyleven2011
Concur doc , doesn't matter when a long reliever should come in , his job is to eat innings...
  21. Blyleven2011
I've stated several times we will know the twins identity at the end of June ...
  22. Blyleven2011
Does anyone else have problems with this site , constantly have to reboot or it just goes blank ... This is a new one , Now I send a response to patzy , his mentioning a lefty and somehow after I hit quote it change the quote and went to Correa, Castro and Jefferson, alot of hits on the bench ... Toronto has another lefthander , wonder if they use it in this game ...
  23. Blyleven2011
And I heard they have another one ...
  24. Blyleven2011
Thanks ... Another lefty coming in to face the twins batters , word is out twins struggle with most lefthanders ....
  25. Blyleven2011
Oh no , leave the room to check dinner and Ober gave up 2 more runs , I take It he surrendered another homer ..someone tell me or I'll look it up between innings ...
