  1. The injury complicates things, but had he stayed healthy I think this offseason would've been the ideal time to move him. You're right, finding a true 3 to play with Wiggins may have been hard to do, but it was also necessary. Lavine the 6th man sound good in theory, but eventually that won't play. And in the meantime you'd lose tremendous trade leverage and value.
  2. Mass Effect may have been what finally killed my Nintendo loyalty. I held on to the Wii long enough to play Twilight Princess and that was the end of it.
  3. Yeah, the Wii was my last attempt at being a Nintendo-only guy. The gimmicky sports controls forced me to Playstation and I have never come back. I'm guessing there are a lot of people like me over the last ten years.
  4. I don't like Murray at all.
  5. I wish Nintendo would embrace basically making their own console to compete with PS4 and Xbox. I appreciate their desire to innovate, but I also want to play Madden and Zelda on the same system. That shouldn't be impossible.
  6. The whole premise of your post seems to assume we trade Lavine for a PG, C, or PF. Who is saying that? Isn't everyone assuming Lavine moves for a SF? A true SF/Wing? All I'm saying is, we're playing as well (maybe better) without Lavine. Which might indicate that this kid, as good as he is, just might be miscast with these other two young stars. So packaging him with something for a true 3 seems ideal for this team.
  7. I'm sad Nintendo has forced me to a point where I may never play this new, amazing Zelda game. It'll be the first Zelda game I may have to skip. How did this company fall so far after the Wii dominated households just a decade or so ago?
  8. I'm with you, aim for a solid tackle and Zeitler.
  9. No, the 40M included draftees. The actual number is about 38. The simple truth is that it's going to be hard to sign 3 FA offensive linemen. There is so much need, so much cash, and only so many guys. I worry we'll even manage two significant signings. I'm hopeful, but I worry as well. I imagine Rhodes will ink something like a 5 year 70M contract. That will be an increase of about 5-6M depending on the details. So, yeah, that will eat up some of the salary cap room. Griffin and Barr are guys that might be worth front-loading if there is further room.
  10. Alright, so we have 40M available. How do we spend it? 8-10M is going to have to be spent on a tackle. Be it Reiff, Vollmer, Kalil, Beachum, Whitworth, Okung, or Wagner. You have to land one of those guys. 8-10m is going to a guard. I'm good with TJ Lang or Zeitler, but pony up. That leaves 20M. I think I look long and hard at a few DTs. Bennie Logan might be a nice fit at a decent price. Then unload Shariff Floyd and basically call it a wash. I'd like to resign Munnerlyn for probably 6M or so. After that, I'm not sure where the rest of the money go.
  11. At least he recused himself. Small victories.
  12. And probably further evidence that Lavine is going to be dealt. This team is so much better off with Wiggins at the 2.
  13. Nope, I want a multi-dimensional guy. I'm not sinking 5-6M into a goal line back.
  14. I tend to think how good a speech like this is viewed has more to do with whether your pet issues were touched on rather than the rhetoric itself. All of these are really just the act of kissing a baby on camera stretched out over three hours of blather.
  15. Well, isn't that all major political speeches? Every year we get a State of the Union address that is pretty much exactly this. I guess I can't criticize that. Everyone does this schtick and has for as long as politics have existed. The only difference I see is in the reception and how low our expectations are for Trump.
  16. Legion continues to be so trippy awesome. God damn.
  17. Mauer-Polanco-Sano-Dozier-Kepler-Vargas-Rosario-Castro-Buxton And later, if Buxton is hitting well, slide him up to either the two or three spot and slide everyone else down.
  18. I wouldn't sign Charles personally. I'd rather draft a back.
  19. Under, but that line is well placed.
  20. Yeah, tonight may cement that. But I have no idea who they could target.
  21. As humans we are experts at finding stupid ass hills to die on. And this is one of those hills.
  22. Quite a few, but knowing who is going to be late round or not is hard to tell until after the combine. I was all about Kamara but it appears the rest of the NFL saw it too and he's projected to be a first rounder now. But if he slid to our second round pick, I'd be really upset if we passed on him. But this RB class is really, really deep.
  23. Step one for a successful offseason complete. I wasn't 100% sure this would happen.
  24. In other news, ambulatory humans committing mass insect genocide with their feet, windshield casualties at all time high as well.
  25. I think this year has shown us a lot about Yeo. And very little of it reflects well on him.
