    I like that Santiago's career FIP is almost 1 run higher than his career ERA. To paraphrase Rob Antony, "santiago is a 10-4 guy, but I think he could be a 4-10 guy."

    Top 100 guys don't really do anything for me. The majority of them don't pan out anyway and I have zero faith in this organization's ability to develop anyone. Edit: By top 100 I clearly do not mean top 25 but fringe top 100 guys don't excite me.

    Am I the only one that just despises the trade deadline? I just hate seeing star for prospect trades. I don't want to see Sale pitch for anyone other than Chicago. I don't want to see Puig anywhere but LA. I don't want to see someone like Jay Bruce who has spent his entire career in Cincinnati play for NY. I'm ok with useful parts like Aaron Hill or Eduardo Nunez being traded but it kills me a little bit each time I see a great player leaving the only team they've been apart of.

    i would rather have Terry than Beane. Absolutely no continuity, completely undoes any positive trade by making a worse one, never won anything. His pitching draftees are not any different than the Twins. Pass 1 million times.

    Sadly this time the announcers are more nauseating than the performance on the field. I think someone better check on Bremer throughout the evening to make sure is ok.

    Dick thinks Nolasco would fit in nicely at the back of the rotation on a contending team. Despite the fact that he does not fit in well in the back of the rotation on this team.

    I like how they allow this guy to go 124 pitches when he can't get anyone out but if he had a one hitter going he'd be gone at 100.

    Trading Bobby Hill and Jose Hernandez for Kenny Lofton and Aramis Ramirez. That being said it is a lot easier to take if you actually acquire difference makers for prospects instead of mediocre stop gaps.

    You're right. 30 for 30 Believeland, BattleFrog Obstacle Race, and the CFL. Coverage of this is non-existent as I had to search the Coastal Carolina website to find out who won.

    I want Delvin Perez (I don't care about failed drug tests) or Craig. But yes, if Groome is around take him. Potential second rounder- I wanted Funkhouser from Louisville last year and I want him again. They'll probably try to take Logan Shore again.

    You should not expect a MLB player to be able to catch a routine fly ball. Good call on the homerun!

    At one point skipping AAA was a semi-regular occurrence. Most of the top prospects are in AA and AAA is for AAAA players and 37 year old journeymen trying to hang on.
