    2011. That season was a kick to the biscuits after coming off a 90+ win season. It was apparent we were gonna stink these last two years.

    I wouldn't be outraged if the Twins re-signed Mourneau, but I'd much rather they roll with what they have (Parmalee/Collabello). I haven't given up on either of those two, and would love to see them get consistant ABs next year. If the Twins are going to spend money at first, throw it at that kid from Cuba.

    I'd give the nod to the Sopranos, but you can't go wrong with either. Two greatest dramas in TV history in my humble opinion.

    I follow the Celtics, so I got to see Collins play a bit this season. Dude is no great shakes, but he is def going to be on a roster if he wants to. Plays good man to man on bigs, and he handled the Celtics team defense fairly well. By all account he was a good guy in the locker room as well. He'll end up on someone's bench.

    Light Years is one helluva jam. Good to hear Gammons has good taste. Also, Riot Act would be my 2nd favorite. F'ing love that album.

    hey drjim and brad swanson, what is your thoughts on Binaural? It seems like PJ fans either love it or ignore it. Personally i think it's their best album.

    This makes sense. There is no reason not to wait if it is only 2-4 weeks. Getting an extra year of control is huge.

    Let's keep the 80s alive and bring in Jamie Moyer. I'd wager he could put up #s that'll match that bum we signed from Pittsburg.

    Yeah, I should've said make some noise in the playoffs. But besides one possible fluke win, does anyone see anything positive happening for the Vikes if they make it in? And on the free agent front, Darnell Dockett would be a good fit for us. He's not fitting in with AZ and their 3-4 scheme. Dude would make a great pair with KW in a 4-3.

    Sure, there's two weeks left, but this team isn't sniffing the playoffs. But with a little work, they could be in the thick of it next year. Here's what I'd like to see them do. Sign either Mike Wallace or Dwayne Bowe. Both are young, both are the big play WR we need. I'm not picky. Sign Andy Levitre, OG from Buffalo. Our line is having a good year. An upgrade at LG could make it a great line in 2013. Trade/cut Ponder. See ya, dude. Trade/sign Mike Vick. Time for Randall Cunningham 2.0. Dude has struggled lately, but that O-line in Philly is laughable. And Vick can still throw a good deep ball, and that is what this team needs. If Vick can't be picked up, Alex Smith would be Plan B. With the 1st round pick, choose the best DT or MLB available. This draft should have some high-end quality at those spots. With 2nd pick, grab a QB project. Someone that has a working knowledge of the cap situation let me know how stupid this plan is.

    Yessir. Every playoff loss since hasn't been as bad IMO because we were the inferior team. Even in 2006 our rotation was in shambles once Radke got hurt. A few things go our way in 2004 and we get past the Yankees.

    Dunno if it has been mentioned, but game 4 of the 2004 ALDS was disgusting. Up 5-2 late, Rincon gives up that bomb to Ruben Sierra.
