    The record for most consecutive strikeouts by a non-pitcher is 10 by Rick Ankiel who was a pitcher previously. Until he quit throwing strikes But the best I could find was Evan Gattis had back to back 4 strikeout games in his 2nd and 3rd game as an Astro. He was 0-11 after 3 games with just those 8 consecutive K's

    Rocco commenting on the Dodgers tying it up after pulling Ober. His comments were that the hardest hit ball was the one caught by Buxton. True. But they got hits on balls put in play. Wow! Runs can be scored without the long ball. What a marvelous concept.

    I did acknowledge that. Can you comprehend? Pulling out Angel Hernandez. That's funny. And for someone who complains about poaching posts you sure have a habit of doing it. You're a I know everything guy. It's not one person's comment that I was amplifying. It's a constant on the game threads by quite a few posters. To the point of being ridiculous.

    Game altering? You're assuming that. The Twins players were missing plenty of pitches in the SZ. Could the bigger strike zone have induced Twins hitters to swing at balls they normally wouldn't? Perhaps. The comments that are made, is that it's a mlb conspiracy singling out the Twins. And listening to Morneau. He's right in the sense that a 2-1 count is different than a 1-2 count or whatever it is at the time. Still. You guys all want perfect. Even with automated strike zone you'll never get perfect. 125 years of baseball. And you want this. Good for you. And how is it going to be better? That's my opinion. You're entitled to yours.

    It was 1 game. I did have a slight problem with Sat game. But to me it's much ado about nothing. In fact fans embrace it as a built in excuse for losing. There is no way mlb singles out the Twins. Cleveland is preferred over Minnesota? It was even suggested that umps were in cahoots Ala the NBA and gambling on games by a poster in Sat game thread. Twins hitters are not performing right now. It surely isn't because of the home plate umpire. No to robo umps.

    SSS is the equivalent of the term "meaningful games" I haven't seen that one yet. But it's coming.

    He's inexpensive? Can't go over the budget. These hitters are all professionals. Maybe it is on coaching. Something isn't right. Same coach who was there for the 2nd half last season. Even though they won 3 playoff games last year it wasn't like they were lighting it up. Most of the contributions came from Lewis and Correa. This season more of the same so far

    I disagree. No conspiracy. My problem is why isn't Ryan nibbling off the plate as well. If he's not getting the same calls you may be on to something.
