  1. His gaffe took the bat out of the hands of " one of the top hitters in baseball"
  2. Yes. That's the low to high range and I'm sure it depends if the the opponent is the NYY or the Oakland A's
  3. They're sold as suites. They range from 4 to 25 K
  4. Win totals and RBI. Both meaningless stats. It has to be woba or fwar or ops+or- My personal favorite is fubar of course. Go Bailey. Get to 20.
  5. The Twins showed as much enthusiasm after Farmer triple/hr as I've seen all season. And to say a team isn't fighting hard is subjective at best. Not personal. Just the truth
  6. Not bad for a team that wasn't fighting very hard with very little enthusiasm.
  7. 84% of the umpire crews might have a guy from Cleveland and the other 16% could have a guy from Dayton or Columbus. They're just lucky. That's all. If you say it often enough it may be true. How lucky can a team be? I mean how lucky can Farmer be to get his 1st homer in Aug.
  8. If Eddie Gaedel can hit lead-off, then Christian Vazquez surely can.
  9. And you have a habit of chopping quotes. Leave in all text that relates. I said mumbo jumbo stats because you're using 350 PA to make your claims relevant. I responded with let's see him do it year after year before I make the claim you made.
  10. It also used to be unbiased. Errors are not given to the home team so as to not hurt their defensive metrics. They're also not given so freely to opponents so as to help the home teams offensive stats. 🙄
  11. Castro 1 error Lewis 2 errors Kepler 1 error. And when you come back with that Keplers play was difficult. I ask you this. Was that play more difficult than the play he made in game 1? E9 sorry. That was Kwan. 3 outs in the 5th No scoring
  12. 350 PA spread over 2 years. 350 PA equals 1/2 a season. STOP with all your statistical mumbo jumbo. When he can do what Betts or Freeman or Judge or Soto or Seager or Ohtani or Harper do year after year after year. I acknowledged he's done well. Is it SUSTAINABLE? Until then. Bull. And let's blame the umps for that start. He was still struggling for a month at AAA where they have robo umps.
  13. Total nonsense. 2 outs bottom of the 9th scenario. Left hander on the mound You, Brock Beauchamp have all this info. Who are you going to hit? You want to go with that precious data that's right in front of you. 100.00 to a donut you go with Mauer.
  14. You watch a ton of baseball. Most of the better hitters are left handed hitters. 125 years of data. Let's start with Cobb Ruth maybe Gehrig Williams Musial. Perhaps more modern Brett Carew Oliva. Today Soto Seagar. Freeman. I'm pretty sure they hit lefties at a lesser clip than righties. **** ing trash data. Wallner is NOT one of best hitters in all of baseball. That statement alone is preposterous. If you go 2-10 with 8 strike outs and 2 homers you have a great OPS. He's not even a Matt Olson. Schwarber maybe. A lot of people think he's great too. He's Joey Gallo with out the defense. As @RpR would say. Oh and his 25 PA in April equals about 1/2 the amount of PA he's had against lefties.
  15. If Varland's defense did what they should have he throws shutout ball over 5 innings and gives up 5 hits. There were at least 4 plays that should have been made, but weren't. Louie did fine until the Naylor homer. Naylor should have never hit that inning.
