  1. Gotta love that optimism. The Twins are right there. Ready to knock that door down. And I believe the spark that will ignite them is less than 10 days away from joining them. And his name is Royce Lewis
  2. Just a correction. Correa with a single and double plus 2 K's. Not Castro. Castro struck out 4 times and played an atrocious game in left as well
  3. What stats are you looking at? Solano and Castro have better numbers than Larnach over the past 15 games? 1st off Larnach was recalled when Kepler went down. Since then he's homered twice and tripled and driven in 8. And on top of that he played the whole West Coast trip ill. They tested him for Covid on their return. Waiting for results. That's why he's unavailable for Mondays game
  4. He's ill. Not even on the bench tonight. Which makes Roccos early moves even more dubious
  5. Maybe they were giving you insider trade information by subtly playing with said paper airplanes
  6. I was watching MLB tonight and the stat that blew me away was that Oriole relief pitchers had 42 holds. This has been the Twins biggest problem to me. Tonight Pagan comes in down 4-0 so his job is to keep it right there and he starts by walking his 1st 2 batters. I hope he can get out unscathed.
  7. I know that Larnach was ill all last week. I'm only speculating that perhaps Julien might be as well. Since he didn't hit. And Rocco subbed in earlyfor Gallo last Mon 12 inning game. I think Gallo got 2 AB and Solano 5. Don't know why Kiriloff got PH for. It has been a crazy vibe kind of game
  8. Haha. When the conversation came up about the Orioles of the 60s and 70s I was going to comment that out of all those teams, they had only won 1 WS 1970 after losing to the Mets and Pirates in 69 and 71. I didn't think about the 66 team because Weaver wasn't the manager then.
  9. 66 Orioles beat the Dodgers in 4 straight. I think both Robinsons homered in the 1st inning. They scored 3 runs in the 1st. I think the Dodgers only runs came in that 5-2 loss. If that's not it I'm clueless
  10. There's only 6 teams over ..500 in the NL and 9 in the AL. So the Twins happen to be the only team over .500 in the AL Central at this time.. There will come a time when it's the Central are the strongest. And then you'll be complaining that it's not fair because your team might not make the playoffs that year
  11. I've said since March that Buxton will not play CF this year. And it's not about the possibility of him being injured while playing CF. It's the additional wear and tear on his body. Every time he's on the bases it's 100% effort when running. And his slides are brutal. It's the same reason they haven't had him attempting to steal bases. How many has he attempted? He is fragile and everyone knows it. You and I may not agree with the the way the Twins play him as solely DH, but they're trying to maximize his AB's and that will limit him solely to hitting.
  12. No argument here. But he was thick. Tree trunk legs. Forearms the size of hams.
  13. 4:20 goes back idk 20 years. Refers to getting high. And Lopez just got screwed
  14. Why all the weed references. Is this TD or High Times
  15. So let's play Groundhog day is the answer. Pagan and Jax are having trouble pitching with leads. Let's keep throwing them out there. Eventually something will stick. And this is a tried and true model. 👍
  16. Ive been waiting for a response like this. Lopez nor Duran have pitched since Monday. And yet Stewart and Jax have thrown in 3 of the 5 games. Jax lost a lead earlier in the week as well. Stewart has been fine. So why not Stewart for the 7th Lopez for the 8th and Duran to close it out? Are they saving their 2 best relievers for something?
