    I was cleaning out some boxes this weekend and found a batch of pictures of the Houston Colt 45's. When I was a kid I'd send a letter to teams and ask for free stuff. The Colt 45's sent me a batch of nice glossy pictures. Rusty Staub, Jim Wynn, Nellie Fox. Looked like mostly a lot of guys hanging on at the end of their careers they got in the expansion draft but Staub and Wynn were just kids. Staub ended up being a decent player for the Mets as I recall. I'm not sure why I'd remember that but not anything else, old age stinks but still better than the alternative.

    No just the hidden camera in Brian's laboratory where he does his game thread intros. Leaked by Joe Torre with MLB which has Brian under 24 hour surveillance. Oops just about gave away the leaker.

    I think we are nearly all tired of Chicago, Clev., Detroit and KC. I'd like to see the number of games in division reduced so we could have more games against other teams. It would probably be easier on Brian not playing the same teams so much. Of course ESPN needs all those Yankee-Red Sox games to show.

    ..."for bit pieces"? I don't understand are you suggesting that they would do the old make a trade for the sake of making a trade? The correct way to build a team is make trades that will make the team better over the long run. If the team is a serious contender in late July you look at things as maybe buying. If they are just hanging around .500 it is likely time to make a trade or two that will help in the future.
