I'm currently doing my taxes because I'm a horrible procrastinator. Will the Twins game be more pleasant? I hope so, but there aren't any guarantees I guess.
I literally just got one today. I've had mlb.tv for the last few years (and I still do), but after these first couple games I kinda hit the panic button. I got the minor league package just in case I want to watch baseball that's actually good for a change. I'll let you know how it is, but I won't be around to watch it live on EEST.
During the breaks on mlb.tv, they're showing some highlight clips from various years. They just showed Jeter's 3000th hit, which was a home run. There's a soft spot in my heart for that hit - it happened on my wedding day.
I really want to believe that this is the case, but honestly I expected it to already be happening. If we aren't flushing out mediocre veterans in favor of high upside prospects by mid year, I'll be highly disappointed.
I think this is an interesting question too, for recovery aids like growth hormone, taken out of competition, like when on the DL. But testosterone or anabolic steroids are just a bridge too far.
Yep, he was in Texas for a year. But neither that nor the fact that you have completely needlessly compared the 2014 Twins - who have literally nothing to do with Joe Benson - to a Marlins team that still managed to suck has anything to do with the discussion at hand. Joe Benson isn't good enough to be a consistent big leaguer. We've figured that out over the last four or five years. Glad you got your digs in on the Twins though.
You're comparing 1B/corner outfielders to catchers/center fielders? Cool story. Next you're honestly going to imply that our pitchers are worse than they were in 2013 because Worley has a higher career ERA+ than Hughes and Diamond is higher than Gibson. Tell me with a straight face that you'd rather have Diamond and Worley in the rotation. This looks like cherry-picking.
So when the guy who couldn't crack a terrible Twins squad and then couldn't crack two terrible Marlins squads fails again, will you post another update?
I'm not sure you understand. It's Brian Duensing. Brian. Duensing. Like, THE Brian Duensing. Yeah, let that sink in. Frankly, if they don't get both Matz and Syndergaard, they got ripped off. Brian Duensing is the key to making trades in the MLB.
