  1. Who else feels the same way? Revere has basically reached his ceiling as a 3 tool player. He isn't as valuable to the Twins as Span is, but could probably fetch something in a trade.
  2. Maybe he is a little borderline, but I think he's more qualified than many others currently inducted.
  3. The Twins are the lady on the left, and boy oh boy, are they singing.
  4. Hicks is the best choice, but gotta give a lot of credit to Chris Collabello as a close 2nd. 98 RBI
  5. Guerra isn't going to be a great player and he hasn't earned anything. Let's not include him on the same level as Anthony Super Slama. LET THE KIDS PLAY!!!
  6. The Twins would send all of New Britain or Rochester as call-ups rather than Slama. There always seems to be multiple scrubs that are 'seemingly' in the way.
  7. Santana is certainly a top 20 guy. Very toolsy player.
  8. Awesome that Berrios is beginning to start. Duffey and Chargois continue to dominate in the pen too.
  9. Kernel's, Snappers. I like the originality, but wherever they end up can we at least have a good mascot?
  10. Maicer Izturis or attempt to acquire Steven Drew. Gavin Floyd seems like a good fit.
  11. Wow Beloit scores 13 and the big 3 do nothing.
  12. You're pretty optimistic in terms of ETAs. Diamond isn't really a rotation anchor and that rotation looks suspect. My biggest gripe is Dozier at SS. In his brief stint, I feel he's presented a ceiling as a below average shortstop. I think Daniel Santana is a better future option. He's got tools, but just needs to walk more. Jorge Polanco is also a reasonable, better choice.
  13. Both Span and Revere could be traded in the offseason since Carson seems like he could be an interim. An Outfield of Mastroianni, Willingham, and Carson with Parmelee as the 4th isn't a huge dropoff. Clears the way for Hicks and Arcia early on. Arcia might be ready at the start of next season, but I am sure the Twins won't push him to the majors to avoid a possible setback.
  14. Good catch. I should have had him.
  15. I'd rather hire some witch doctors or go with TCM before the Twins current staff.
  16. Not many Twins writers I like and that's why I come here. LaVelle E Neal is okay, but everyone else I'm not a fan of. The condescending smug and arrogance on some them.
  17. So this looks pretty good regarding Blackburn's future, right? In that there is no future obviously.
  18. Do I think he's good? Not really. Better than Blackburn and Devries at least. 29 and he still can't control his pitches. I don't know if there is any way you can get him to issue less walks. He would have solved that problem by now. His WHIP is extremely high and that's a big warning sign.
  19. They may as well just tank now.
  20. Most of those pitchers the Twins should give a look will be sent elsewhere in the system or cut.
  21. As the second top 50 I've done this year (cheating?), a LOT has changed. From now on until the end of the year, I don't expect much to change. I've gone through all the stat-sheets on every affiliate and included a few international signings as well. Age, performance, and relative level were all the most important factors. Tools also played a very important part. A player with a .300 BA and no HRs or SBs is not going to get anywhere here. From now on, I'll probably use this as a reference in regards to future rankings. 1. Byron Buxton, OF 18 Rk (E) 2. Miguel Sano, 3B 19 A 3. Aaron Hicks, OF 22 AA 4. Oswaldo Arcia, OF 21 AA 5. Pat Dean, SP 23 A+ Players I don't like that were not included: Carlos Guiterrez, Deolis Guerra, Tom Stuifbergen By Clubhouse: 4 Rochester/9 New Britain/9 Ft. Myers/11 Beloit/12 E-Town/2 GCL/2 INT/1 INJ By Position: 17 SP/11 RP/2C/3 1B/1 2B/ 2 3B/4 SS/10 OF There's a lot of talent overall and it would sure be nice to have some more pitchers 'break out'.Collabello is the only one over age 24 because this is his first year in the minors and because he's also mashing. There's a lot of Outfielders I really like that don't get as much attention as the ones in the top 5. There's not much talent in Rochester and it's risky to count on anyone in the GCL. As for the whole system, it's pretty weak outside the top 15 or so. I can't wait for offseason promotions and I hope you enjoy this!
