  1. Probably, but this is fun to dream about
  2. You don't like Weaver?
  3. Much like Urias of the dodgers, I would be surprised if Reyes were available. But I would also jump at that
  4. St Louis is apparently in on talks for Dozier too!
  5. Any updates? Chance we can get St. Louis in on the talks?
  6. Is there an update?
  7. New idea. I don't love it, would rather have prospects http://m.mlb.com/news/article/212106536/8-potential-trades-during-mlb-hot-stove-season/?partnerId=as_mlb_20161224_68982816&adbid=812795758558613505&adbpl=tw&adbpr=18479513
  8. I'm not over valuing. If they can get De Leon and Alvarez, the twins take it and run
  9. I'll take Brock Stewart on this twins team any day!
  10. You do realize that even if Calhoun isn't highly thought of defensively that he is a top 100 prospect in baseball, right? And that Stewart averaged more than a strikeout per inning at every level he pitched at in 2016, including the majors? As a twins fan myself, if we were offered those three for Dozier (De Leon, Stewart and Calhoun) I could see haggling over the need on the twins for Calhoun, but I would absolutely take that deal. To say it is delusional, is delusional
  11. Does anyone remember the wall to wall coverage of the Vatican in 2012 or 2013 (can't remember now) when they were working on naming the new pope. The coverage on tv in the states was to watch a chimney that had black smoke coming out of it, but that whenever the new pope was chosen, white smoke would appear to announce to the world that there was a new pope chosen. I wish target field has a smoke signal to let us know when a trade of Dozier has actually happened
  12. De Leonwould be a great get. Liked the article
  13. Yeah De Leon's shoulder scares me a bit too, along with his lack of innings (114 is his max, in 2015, 88 last year.) Beede and Arroyo, if offered, could be a good deal, or at least would get the dodgers to sweat a little
  14. Do you like either of those two as much as De Leon?
  15. http://www.fanragsports.com/mlb/dorn-dodgers-need-trade-brian-dozier-despite-high-cost/ New article says the dodgers should give up de Leon and Bellinger and bite the bullet to get dozier
  16. Quite possibly. If Mike Foltynewicz were to become available, I would JUMP at that offer
  17. I think they would be all about it if Dozier had an Eaton contract where he was controlled for 5 more years. Atlanta probably won't be ready to compete in the next 2 years, so I think they would want pieces that would be around when they are competitive
  18. Are you certain Rosario and Palka are even average Mlb players?
  19. You are right, just saying. And I do fall in the category that I want a trade to happen. Will be good to get this done
  20. Except, Kingman had negative value defensively. Dozier was worth 5.9 war last year, while Kingman was worth 3.7 in 1979.
  21. I don't agree. I think Stewart is a good get, and I also don't see a point in acquiring Calhoun. Lux would be good though.
  22. But it isn't a position of strength if you are keeping the guy who won't be here in 2 years. It is a position of strength because you can trade Dozier and you have his replacement already in house.
  23. As a rebuilding team, why would you trade a young player with years of control instead of a player in their 30's with only 2 years of control left?
  24. True. We can start grading them after their first trade, on their first trade. But still, with all the talk surrounding here, something is bound to happen
