    I would love to share your optimism on this but with 25 games left before the break they would have to hit 4 a game for 25 straight games to tie the franchise record. These guys are crazy good but not that good, I can't see this happening. Sorry

    I think it has to do with teams never sign all 40 rounds, I think it's actually too many players for them to sign. That is why they will take a HS kid as a "maybe we can sign him but probably not" type of guy

    1.) Where are you from? I'm from Austin, Tx and lived in Houston and Kansas City. My family just recently relocated to Winchester, UK for my wife's job. 2.) Age Range? 33 3.) What brought you to Twins Daily? I used to frequent Seth Speaks and Aaron Gleeman and jumped on board when I heard they were making a new site. 4.) Highest level of baseball/softball played? Little league, I was a bit of a slow developer and got into baseball too late so I mainly rode the bench for a year when I was 12. 5.) Favorite Twins Player, and favorite underappreciated Twins player, and if you want, favorite current Twins player? Kirby Puckett of course. Not sure why but I always liked Boof Bonser, not sure if he qualifies as under rated though. Current favorite Twin is Buxton. 6.) Favorite non-Twins Daily site/authors? Not exactly sure what to put here, I don't really have favorite sites and I mostly only read Christian authors (I was in ministry for some years) 7.) Favorite Twitter follows? Not a Twitter guy 8.) Other interests outside of baseball. Rock Climbing, Drums, Hiking, travel 9.) Favorite part of Twins Daily. forums and the links to other blogs 10.) Tell us what we can do better. I'm not a fan of the mobile site, I have to scroll down right away to go to the full version, that's kind of annoying 11.) Have you been to any of the Twins Daily "events?"     Dang, Gross has a degree from Princeton (in 3 years!!!!) And presumably some masters work at Duke. Are we sure we can really get him to sign for a normal senior price? Seems like he would have a lot of opportunities ahead of him

    I remember being fairly positive about that draft too, I thought Michael was for sure a solid pick and Boyd and Harrison looked like they could develop into top of the line starters. Who knew we wouldn't get anything out of that draft at all

    I hate to be critical in the later rounds but do they not value pitching? Why are we picking up infielders who are pretty big reaches at a position where there's a logjam and completely ignoring pitching? Seems odd to me

    Ooof, I woke up (it's 1am here in the UK) expecting them to be halfway through the 1st round and they're only on pick #6?! Holy crap, I could probably watch the second round about breakfast time at this point

    I always get excited about draft day! Too bad I won't be able to see the results until tomorrow. I haven't done as much tape watching as years past so I'm not super familiar with the class. I really hope we avoid the pitcher from Kentucky though, pitchers with long injury histories always scare me and they rarely do much in the majors anyways. If I was a betting man I'd say we go for the catcher from Baylor (too lazy to look up the spelling of his name)

    I'm concerned that Sano might sneak in at night and burn that place down, honestly I wouldn't even blame him. The Trop is the WORST! I kind of hope TB loses their franchise over that crap.......sorry, I'm mad (not sorry)

    Correct me of I'm wrong but I believe that Kyle Cody pick turned into Akil Baddoo.not a bad trade off (at least so far)

    The Twins now have 7 series sweeps on the season before June 1st. Last year we had 7 sweeps all year and were also swept 7 times.

    I feel bad for all these long term injury guys. It's easy to just read an injured list and think "bummer, oh well" but there's all sorts of stories about the hardship and tough journey these injuries can cause, it's not as easy as "well, get em next year!" I feel for these guys and I hope they can recover and have great support in the process.

    After last night the Twins have the best run differential in baseball at +97 runs, the Astros are just behind with +91 and the next highest teams are in the +60s. That's nuts, it's basically us and the 'Stros. I could get used to this
