  1. You know how many free agent OFers are out there? Lots!!
  2. The Twins have to many options at ss already, what will you do with them if not given a chance to play, The Twins young SP have look good, maybe a vet like Guthrie and or Liriaro is all they need.
  3. I think the Tigers will have alot to say about that!
  4. Trade any Ofer you can for front line SP.
  5. The 3rd game of the season was a good time to check out.
  6. Nobody wants Span trade a Ofer somebody wants.
  7. Delmon Young hit a three-run homer Sunday off Chris Sale in the victory over the White Sox. Young had two homers and drove in seven of the Tigers' 16 runs in the three-game sweep of the White Sox. His OPS, which stood at .694 as recently as Aug. 24, is up to .746 now, the highest it's been since April.
  8. It's all up to there F. O. but I think Red Sox will be back on top next year. AGon was all that they lost. Craw never played, and Beckett was a big head ache. A ace SP and a couple key bats is all it would take.
  9. It's all bull, you have no idea what you are talking about.
  10. I thnk Justin is worth more to the Twins than to any other team. Twins needs power hitting too. I would not extend him till next June. See where we are at and he is at. If he is back to his old self. Probably go 15m per year for 2 to 4 years.
  11. Thank god they finally put him on the dl. No other team has this problem. This is the major leagues and they play a player short and think nottin of it. It's beyond reason.
  12. Vargas for Blackburn is about equal.
  13. Need pitching no, need leadership yes. Don't have the dollars no, refuse to put a sellable product on the field yes.
  14. To bad they could score some of those runs in the 1st two games or is that waiver wire stuff again.
  15. Twins better win this one, can't take much more.
  16. Bull, that's why I don't like him and no one will trade with him, The whole F.O, is a bunch of crooks.
  17. CF Denard Span was a late scratch because of soreness in his collarbone. He was scheduled to have an MRI exam Wednesday morning. Span was injured Aug. 12 while trying to make a sliding catch on a soft liner. He missed nine games but had played in four of the Twins' previous five games before Tuesday. "I don't think anybody's all that concerned about it, but he's sore today," GM Terry Ryan said. (Yahoo! Sports)
  18. Sure it is his fault, the fans that go to the games fault, and the tax payers fault.
  19. According to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com, the Twins have placed Joe Mauer on revocable waivers. It's common practice in August for teams to place their players on waivers, so this isn't necessarily significant. If Mauer is claimed, the Twins could pursue a trade, assign his remaining contract to the claiming team or simply pull him back from waivers. Rosenthal speculates that the Red Sox could be a potential fit for Mauer at some point, but it would still be a surprise if he's moved. Mauer still has six years and $138 million left on his contract with Minnesota. Source: FOXSports.com
  20. Like the Twins it may take for ever, unless they spend some money.
  21. Hitters slump, pitchers do to, sometimes they go on ar oll and win 5 to 10 in a row sometimes they lose 5 to 10 in a row. Baseball is not played on paper. Players are human too.
  22. Denard Span is considered day-to-day with soreness in his right collarbone. The injury was originally reported as shoulder soreness. Span has been dealing with soreness in both areas for a couple weeks now, though he returned to play four games over the last week. With roster expansion looming, he won't be placed on the DL.
