  1. "Khannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!"
  2. "A man's got to know his limitations."
  3. "Tachy goes to Coventry." Best feature of vBulletin?
  4. Kyle Gibson, staff ace.
  5. Anna and the Royals of Siam.
  6. FSN just played a (translated) quote from Sano that he chose Minnesota because of Joe Mauer. Will ceases never wonder.
  7. Also, Steinbach is the manager tonight and probably tomorrow as Gardy is attending Michael Hirschbeck's funeral.
  8. It seems like sound analysis. Obviously something is not working right. It will be instructive, as always, to get Parker's take.
  9. I know. And it only happens here, too. For example the Rays are so good, I'm sure they only play to standing room only crowds.
  10. The national media barely acknowledges the existence of the State. Usually only if something bad happens. I hope more is learned about this before it gets to the time Matt Birk's brain is under the scopes.
  11. Oh, that was you jumping up and down on the cop car.
  12. Maybe people want him to start taking PEDs. Then our team can make national headlines too.
  13. Maybe Selig can announce a new contraction plan at the ASG. That should brighten up the whole summer.
  14. Of course, you and I and everyone else posting in this thread aren't going to increase or decrease diddly; only Joe can do that. The same Joe that still may be recovering from a recent head injury. There is science involved there as well, and that has been singularly ignored by just about everybody here, on either side of the coin.
  15. The first part; I think Calvin behaving like a 19th century plantation owner had something to do with it, too. As for the second, I don't see that as true at all. Improvement in one area does not require diminishment in another to offset the gain.
  16. Don't know if this signifies a bug or not; probably just an early morning transient. It didn't last very long.
  17. Maybe he just needs to grow the sideburns back out. Then they can start running his 'Mean Joe' ad again where he yanks them off and gives them to the kid. That should restore his folk hero status.
  18. What, the riot in Dinkytown?
  19. So who else saw this thread becoming a train wreck back on page one? I have a feeling Nick did.
  20. Pete Rose says no. But he might.
  21. Well, I think we just did. But June 1 seems reasonable. The question becomes one of options at that point. Deduno and Meyer, I guess. Kris Johnson? I really hope Nolasco and Hughes get it together before that. But hope isn't enough, is it?
  22. It's certainly possible. Although, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_to_Lie_with_Statistics is still needing to be read on a regular basis.
  23. In other entertainment news, Stephen Colbert will be batting for David Letterman in the future.
