  1. I know I’m bat-sh*t crazy here, but I think Margot goes when Buxton returns, and Farmer for Correa. By then most of the bill has already been paid.
  2. It’s possible for more than one person to make a mistake at the same time. In fact, more often than not, I’d wager.
  3. It’d be nice to get some good news today.
  4. Will be interested to learn Kepler’s status. If he can’t go against the right hander he needs to be IL’d and replaced by Lee.
  5. Winder is the guy you use to go 3-4 innings once every few days so you don’t have to burn 3-4 other relievers. Not super-special but very helpful when needed.
  6. This may be the most winnable game of the series.
  7. That’s why we come here. Personally, I was always partial to Gene Mauch.
  8. The reason I don’t think Lewis moves to first is the number and variety of stretches and splits a first baseman has to make. This would stress precisely the areas of his body where his most recent injuries have occurred. Perhaps unwise.
  9. I will not be at all surprised if KC wins the division.
  10. Red sky looks like Mars out there. Nice rainbow, though.
  11. Storm sirens blaring; might be best to root for rain.
  12. Given the non-moves today I’ll say Lee and Varland.
  13. I can hardly wait until it’s like this from May to November. :(
  14. Sure is bad. Good luck to Fair-goers as well.
  15. In Ober we trust, yet once again. Also, I suppose a KC-Cleveland split would be okay, since we’re going to have to beat out both of them.
  16. But positing luck, without providing an underlying error analysis of the data, is?
  17. Martin kind of makes me think of a right handed version of Ben Revere. Very helpful in the right circumstances.
  18. Based on run differential, which you don’t look at, as of today the Twins are one expected game behind Cleveland and three behind KC. The Royals should be leading this division.
