    Winder is the guy you use to go 3-4 innings once every few days so you don’t have to burn 3-4 other relievers. Not super-special but very helpful when needed.

    The reason I don’t think Lewis moves to first is the number and variety of stretches and splits a first baseman has to make. This would stress precisely the areas of his body where his most recent injuries have occurred. Perhaps unwise.

    Martin kind of makes me think of a right handed version of Ben Revere. Very helpful in the right circumstances.

    Based on run differential, which you don’t look at, as of today the Twins are one expected game behind Cleveland and three behind KC. The Royals should be leading this division.
