It's easy to get spoiled by good outfield defense. I thought for sure that drive by Schoop would be caught. Pretty bad route by their RFer. I think either Kepler or Buxton would have reached that one. (Well, not Kep today, but you know....)
The quantity is too much for me, but many people are reading it and summarizing by now, and what I like to do is then verify by looking up the passage they quote and look also at the surrounding context in the released text. The PDF I downloaded is for some reason not searchable, but the NYT has a searchable copy that isn't behind their paywall. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/04/18/us/politics/mueller-report-document.html#g-page-202 The redactions did not include the F-word in that one passage being bandied about.
I especially enjoyed watching their rag-arm in CF lollipop it into the infield on that double. Probably Buxton had it made anyway, but this made it not even a doubt.
Yes. ... oh, and you want to see? Here is the passage from the section on definitions in the official rules: The STRIKE ZONE is that area over home plate the upper limit of which is a horizontal line at the midpoint between the top of the shoulders and the top of the uniform pants, and the lower level is a line at the hollow beneath the kneecap. The Strike Zone shall be determined from the batter’s stance as the batter is prepared to swing at a pitched ball.
This could be the first instance of a full-fledged Article at TD earning the writer a coveted Warning Point from the moderators for trolling, but I will have to check with my colleagues... Nah, nah, it's just Satire, and well executed. Good job!
''Yesterday in one 24-hour period we had over 4,800 people cross our border. A new record for the modern era...." Things have kind of gone to pot under this current administration, haven't they? Using the same tools and infrastructure that previous administrations had. Maybe it's not the tools and infrastructure that's the problem.
