    Love players who truly earn their promotions!!! I get it that he has 51 career AAA starts (4.27 era in 276 IP) & 19 MLB starts w/Wsh (5.33era in 106IP), but I just think that David Bromberg needs to get to AAA & to develop your own guys. He is Dutch, so maybe Bert had a say in the move.

    Should be Tosoni as NBrit needs a 4th OF (starts if Benson goes to ROC). He was sent on rehab & has gotten 32ABs (9hits). Send him back to where he should be. Be nice to get a 6wk look at Keplar in a true lg.....what else can he do in the APP Lg Rosario, according to Tery Ryan, is about to begin his rehab also.....currently rehabbing in Ft Myers

    I said argueably....knew that would draw some harsh comments but he HAS been very good the past 20gms since the ASBreak.....thought it was from his mini/benching or injury (depends on who you believe). Hicks stole his 21st base today tying his career high. Highs in HRs & SBs so far & on pace for highs in XBHs/runs/hits.

    Benson since coming off the DL......admittingly it was GCL, High A/AA....14gms 18/51 .353/.431/.510 10r 5doubles 1HR 10rbi 7bb 11k 5/7sb Done everything he can in AA & was sent back initially to get his hitting stoke back. Its back, so get him back to AAA for a couple wks till we need an OF after Span is dealt.

    Carson is a 31 yr old player with no future with this team as out OF depth (almost ready to go OF depth) is outstanding. 34RBI in 88gms (tho a .325BA w/RISP is decieving) isnt enough to get me excited.

    terrible scouting on this deal as you got 2 power arms that couldnt throw strikes. Hate that combo.....cannot, IMO, have control problems in the back end of a pen.

    Bedrosian should be a throw in to Garrett Richards if we do a Liriano thing as his 24/31 K/bb rate in 43.2IP is unappealing but Id gamble that after a full year of recovery, he may look like a formr #1 pick who is only 21.

    My prediction for next spring is Gibson goes to ROC for a month & after that he's the first one recalled. Blackburn, due only to money, is the 5th starter---team will say he's throwing like he did 3 yrs ago---but will get bludgeoned again by mid/late May & we see Gibson around June 1.....give or take. It will allow the team to monitor his innings in AAA & not create a panic if he has a bad outing.

    after an argueably disappointing season by Sano, Hicks in some eyes may have repassed Miguel already. Both were in Beloit at age 19 & both struggled. Hopefully it doesnt take Miguel this long to see his talent take hold (has played well past since benching) as Hicks is now a verified prospect ready for the majors.....in 6wks.

    dont pick up the option for next yr BUT would take him back for around 1.5/2m ONY if he gets the shoulder fixed. Not rehabbed, fixed. He is not to be paid more than Perkins/Burton for next yr.....not one cent if he wants to be back.

    Liriano's struggles have 100% been due to command ......not the TJ surgery. Terry Ryan said Gibson may have 1 (today) or 2 more GCL outings before heading to Ft Myers. He also debunked my thought that Gibson could earn a Sept callup to get himself more innings......thought was right tho as they will send him to instructional league to get more Sept innings & if all goes well, the AFL in Oct to get him around 75 IP he hopes.

    as a 19 yr old (2011) first round pick (#28), Dodgers #1 prospect Zach Lee pitched the entire year in the MWL.....just to compare to someone a lil less high profile than Dylan Bundy. In his 2nd yr, at age 20, he has spent the first half at High A & promoted to AA for last 3 starts. Why cant Berrios do this??

    dont get me wrong....Jose in GCL is where he should be. This year is a freebie for MN in terms of development as former #1s signed late almost always & would pitch very infrequently in their draft year. The ELIZ/Beloit thing for me is next year & next year only....just dont want 2 seasons in short season ball if he pitches well. In terms of culture shock, that is what Im talkin about (Appalachians vs Wis). If he stays in EST till short season starts & then goes to Beloit, Im fine also.

    Absolutely that may be it, but wouldnt Puerto Rico...rather than Carribean/SAmerica for ex...be easier to adapt to the states??? Is it easier to adapt to the States in the Appalachians or in Wisconsin.....not much difference really.
