Ill take what I can get for him, even if it is next to nothing. He's been swinging the bat well, but the rest of the year he was average. If we keep him, and he has a hot August/September...some team will offer him a decent contract. I honestly wouldn't pay more than $4 million a year for the guy and I think he will get more than that in free agency. I love the guy, but we need to move on.

Yup, he has been throwing the fastball a lot less. I dont know if that's something the pirates pitching staff worked with him on. Or if the Twins coaching staff just wanted him to pound the fastball even if he was all over the place. Either way, Ill never fault the twins for getting rid of him. We gave him so many chances. Yes, he'll prolly be the #2 starter if the Pirates make the playoffs and Im sure he will look good. Oh well!

Now were talking! Doumit is on fire!

jeez, these losses keep piling up. Now we gotta go to Detroit and Milwaukee. Can we win 1 game before we come home next Wednesday?

Assuming tonights game is cancelled and they only play 1 tomorrow. Who pitches on Thursday/Friday? Correia will pitch tomorrow. Then do you just go right back to Worley and Diamond to keep them on track since they are pitching well?

Nice win. Piching was great this weekend and got the clutch hit from willingham!

Does anyone know when the MLB releases interleague opponents for upcoming seasons? I thought they were on a rotating basis but maybe they just come out when the schedule comes out.Just curious who will be coming to target field next year. Plus I'd love to go to Wrigley or St Louis next time the twins are down there. Thanks!

Fantastic trade, I love it. Keep adding those arms until we have too many

Great move, we have tons of outfielders....

I like it, just go after 2 starters, and if they can get baker on top of that, it will make a difference. Then you can really ease Gibson into the mix...

What about Peavy? Sox arent picking up his option....any chance we go after him?

this would be a fun stop on the way to of for a game

Yeah, this guy is a keeper at that price! Doumit and Willingham both were great offseason pickups

Legends club it is! Thanks for making that an easy choice!

I'm planning on heading out to target field on Thursday night since stubhub tickets are so cheap. Roof deck tickets are going for 15 and legends club tickets are going for 20 bucks. Which one should I go with? I haven't sat in either location.
