    I missed the Peralta double. Is there a good video of that? I have heard it was very questionable. I was watching the AK at bat live. That was just flat out terrible.

    I was thinking this too. I knew he had visa issues in spring training. Was that why he was on the restricted list? Or did I miss something during all of this?

    I know it is early but I hate seeing Cavaco strike out three times a game, 4 games a week.

    If the Twins are interested in Ray and Bradley from Arizona, what do you think it would take to get them? What if the Twins, dare I say, take on some of Tomas too? Doesnt he have like 1 yr, $17 million left? Not that I would want them to do that but they get creative like that to lessen the prospects.

    I would like them to make a big splash and get 1 or two of these... (Yates, Vazquez, Syndergaard, Giles, Madbum, Smith, Greinke). But, I know better than that. My gut tells me that they will make one more trade for the likes of one of these guys (Hudson, Bradley, Dyson, Kennedy, Elias). I would be a little shocked if they did nothing else.

    I know a year or two ago the Atlanta Falcons lowered all of their concession prices. I don't have the exact dollar amounts but a hot dog was roughly $3 and beers were $5. I havent seen anything if they had a boost in revenue from that or not. It would be interesting to see some data on that.

    I know he has draft pick compensation tied to him but isn't there a dollar limit he has to sign for? I thought I remember seeing that last year someone (possibly Chatwood) could have signed for something like $48 million and the signing team didn't have to give up as high of a pick? Maybe I am not remembering that right.

    Is there an "ideal" timeframe to go with kids (ages 9 and 6)? By that I mean, is it better to go early in spring training? Or later on? We were debating going next year for roughly a week. I just would like to get the kids the best accessibility to players and autographs.

    I would love to see him as the 5th starter this year. If he isn't the 5th starter, he needs to be in the bullpen and not in AAA. It was mentioned before that the Cardinals do this with their young arms. I would like to see Romero learn to pitch and get batters out at this level in either role. To me, AAA is not an option for him.

    This!!! I am not for or against an extension at this point. I can argue for an against both side. What I would really like to see is a full healthy year before I make a decision. Yes, I know that could be a costly decision but I dont see him signing an extension right now with his value low. I would bet he bets on himself.

    Correct me if I am wrong but don't they have Pollock as a FA this year and Goldschmidt next year and Peralta is going to get a nice raise in arbitration and will be a FA soon. Isnt Greinke due something like 35 million each of the next three years? I could see Arizona wanting to get out of that salary to pay their other guys.

    That is true but coming into the season they also had Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Judge, and Aaron Hicks along with guys they weren't going to just walk because they were paying them too much in Jacoby Ellsbury, and Brett Gardner and one of their top prospects Clint Frazier. They didn't have a lot of room for Cave either. A week into the season or whenever the injury bug hit them, they could have used Cave.

    If the team decided that they didnt want to call him up or be a September call up, is there anything to say he cant be in Minnesota working with Rowson as opposed to working in Ft Myers?

    I hope they dont trade him but if they do I am not necessarily considered with the positions of the prospects. I just want quality talent. If down the road you have a surplus that can be used to acquire a specific target. I just want to see high end talent.

    The ump behind home was brutal. I am not in favor of an automated strike zone but after last night I would listen a little harder. Busenitz had Stanton struck out on a pitch that was closer to the middle of the plate than it was to a corner. Stanton got a hit and it open the gates further.

    Buddy Holly beat me to it. I want to say that a family member, possibly grandmother, was very ill most of the season and that family member raised him. I thought I heard that on one of the radio broadcasts. I am not sure if that was the case or not but that could definitely weigh on ones mind.
