    The happiest power hitters that I've ever met were the ones that could hit to all fields. They'd throw that grass in the air and say... "Ahh... It's blowing out to RF tonight... Not a Problem... I can do that". I'd like to see Brian get happier like that.

    I agree and it wasn't that long ago that Carlos was a baseball force with the Sox. It's not unreasonable to think he can't be a force again. It would be nice if baseball actually worked... You know... Best player makes the club... But it doesn't. Rules say that we can't keep Arcia in Rochester until he's 40. That is probably fair to Arcia but someone has to pay the price for that rule and it will be Carlos... For a couple of months at least.

    I think it would be crazy to release Arcia to hold on to Quentin out of Spring Training. The Twins have until June 1 to make a decision on Quentin.

    This is such a bizarre story. 1. Although... I won't judge Adam LaRoche. The Kid should be in school getting picked on by High School Seniors. 2. Kenny Williams must be an ass. The reaction is too extreme for him to be well thought of. It may taint Future Free Agents in the future. At least I hope it does 3. If there was an agreement prior to LaRoche signing a contract with the team. That should be honored. 4. I don't agree this is a typical kids in the workplace discussion. This is not a typical workplace. Kids hanging around the clubhouse as been going on for a long time. I hope it never changes. 5. Refusing 13 million dollars. Williams must have originally laughed at that until Chris Sale changed the tone dramatically. This is a bizarre story

    The only way this is a problem is if the Twins refuse to adjust in case of extreme struggles. If you are sitting in St. Cloud and you need to go to Minneapolis and you turn west on I-94. That is a correctable mistake. You simply turn around and arrive at your destination. If you make it all the way to Fargo... Other folks in the car will be pissed at you but again... you can always turn around... get some more gas and make it to Minneapolis before nightfall. If you keep going all the way to the Pacific Ocean and drive your car into the Ocean. Now you've made a mistake that you can't recover from.

    Last night during the game Terry Ryan said that he thinks May will be a 7th/8th inning guy. My opinion ... May was Beautiful in the pen last year. He was OK as a starter last year but he was beautiful in the pen. I do agree that the Twins should have done more to strengthen the bullpen this year but... If they would have picked up Drew Pomeranz and Drew Storen for this year... I still would have put May in the pen and he'd be my top set up guy... Over Jepsen, Pomeranz and Storen.

    I taped the game and watching it now. It's clear to me that Mastroianni looks exactly like Happy Gilmore's Caddy. Someone give that guy a big round cracker.
