  1. I know that I don't care. I've often said that we should all stop applying the word "bench" in front of players. Because Part-time becomes full time quickly. But... we have multiple people (not everyone) who still think Polanco was superfluous and therefore expandable.
  2. And we both know why. Injuries (including Polanco) are the reasons why. And we have injuries again this year and there were injuries the year before that and the year before that and the year before that etc. Castro is full time right now because of injuries. Despite our injuries. Julien is still not full time. Kirilloff is still not full time. Is my point really this hard to understand?
  3. No I am not saying that. I have no problem with Julien. I like Julien... I wish he were full time. But he's not. He is not playing full-time! Rocco and the front office are the ones who have decided this... not me. This isn't hard to understand.
  4. I'll bet that Martin stays up while Miranda goes down for Correa unless there is an issue with Julien. Castro slides to 3B... Farmer and Julien platoon 2B. Bullpen... No idea.
  5. I'll give you 75% instead of 70%... Neither number is full time. What's worse is... by typing 70% you know what I'm saying. Julien, Kirilloff and Wallner Larnach are not full time players and now that Jeffers has introduced himself as a DH option... It appears that Kepler is also not a full time player anymore. Willi Castro has started the last 12 consecutive games and Santana has started the last 9 consecutive games. They are playing full time... and they have both done a nice job over these stretches.
  6. I appreciate your last sentence... It felt good to watch them light up the scoreboard. I hope it continues but Ups become Downs and Downs become Ups in this game. Every team can beat any team. After 162 games... All teams are going to win a lot of games and they are all going to lose a lot of games. Teams try to win more than they lose. We really don't need to remember that we were facing the White Sox and the Angels in order to diminish a 7 game winning streak. Take your 7 game winning streak... put it on your pocket, feel good and try to make it 8. The White Sox just swept the Rays. Did the White Sox all of sudden starting playing good? Did the team get a boost of winning juice while they were sleeping last Thursday or did the Rays have something to do with the result? Is that it for the Rays now? If they can't beat the White Sox should they be making October Vacation plans? It sounds nice to let the Twins face the White Sox and Angels more often? Be careful what you wish for... lest you might get it. When the baseball gods wish to punish us... they answer our prayers. 😄
  7. Edouard Julien is not a full time player. He has only started 3 of the last 6 games. Willi Castro and Carlos Santana are full time players. Edouard Julien will not be starting tonight. So make it 3 out of 7.
  8. The White Sox no longer have the worst record in baseball. The Marlins are the new leaders.
  9. Rocco has Farmer and Miranda rotating starts against Right Handers. Miranda started on Monday against Cannon Farmer on Tuesday against Fedde Miranda on Thursday against Soroka So Farmer Tonight And Miranda will start on Tuesday. Rocco is not throwing curve balls. 😁
  10. It's his own fault. He chose White Horse by Chris Stapleton for his walk up music. And... turns out... Wallner ain't there yet.
  11. I was offered a job doing that before. I wasn't sure why they offered it to me so I turned it down. The whole thing was kinda fishy.
  12. Trout returns to the river he was born in to spawn. Trout has elliptical eyes that allows him to focus on food and approaching predators at the same time.
  13. I'm winning I'm winning I'm winning I'm winning I'm winning and I don't intend... on losing again.
  14. He might even hit another homer before the season is up.
  15. Exactly. Rocco isn't rogue. You can't be this predictable and consistent rogue. You can't keep your job being rogue.
  16. Keep in mind. This isn't Rocco alone. Someone has to build the roster for this to be executed on the field.
  17. Yes... unless we are over stacked with lefties. Or unless they learn their lesson this year with Margot and Farmer not being adequate to face right handers.
  18. Reasonable result when you roster players to protect against 25% of the pitchers that you face at the expense of 75% of the pitchers you face.
  19. Look at the lineup tonight and look at the lineup Wednesday against Crochet. See any change. Rocco isn't throwing curveballs at us. Rocco is as consistent as they come. Monday when we face Crochet again.. This will be the lineup again. Sandoval and Crochet have huge left/right splits. Sunday against the lefty Detmers who has reverse splits. We might see a lefthander in the lineup. Kepler most likely... maybe Julien if Rocco goes crazy.
  20. Chicago is one of the top cities for food in my opinion. 1. Hibbing 2. Chicago 3. New Orleans
  21. I've never met Sano I mention that to point out that I'm not qualified to pass judgement on his work ethic so I won't. I will say this: Sano was given enough chances with the Twins to see his arbitration price rise to 14 million dollars. The choice for the Twins was do they pick up his option for 14 million or not. Anybody paying 14 million? I'm not!!! Think about it... If we did... we wouldn't be able to afford Joey Gallo!!!
