  1. Castro framed up that 4th K real nice.
  2. Chris Vallimont has got top notch heat. Picking up Romo and getting back a prospect who don't gotta go on the 40-man at year end for Lewin Diaz seems like a pretty shrewd move. Obviously the pitching staff still needs some more arms though...
  3. Tried my hand at some saltimbocca. And a can of peas.
  4. Go and shoot some hoops with my daughter and come back to a brand new ball game. There we go!
  5. Run differential don't lie.
  6. Pair of Ks in the debut. That's what's up.
  7. So who gets the 6th? Time for Stashak?
  8. Agreed. This could also double for the Matt Magill write up. May and Magill are awfully similar with the biggest difference being pedigree.
  9. Thorpe and Stewert pitching well in relief is also that leverage the FO needs. We might got the arms already.
  10. That's the nub. Every time May has looked good it's because he ain't giving up free passes. He's reverted back to form this year. May got in trouble last night by handing out leadoff and 1-out walks. It's his modus operandi.
  11. Based on the highlights above his breaking pitch looks live a curve. Really liked how he set up that 2nd-to-last batter with a couple fastballs up before he froze him with that breaking ball for strike three.
  12. 3-3 with a 3.83 ERA across 9 games and 7 starts.
  13. They got Garver a couple points better than Castro at catcher? I only follow gamecasts. Does that track?
  14. Sometimes the ropes find the mitts. So it goes.
  15. Straight out the cellar for the top of the 7th. Cheers!
  16. Still got nine outs to make. Plenty of chances to do some damage.
  17. That felt good. As nice as it is to see Schoop break out of his slump I'm even more heartened to see Buck smack a couple doubles and have his first good game at the plate since he got back from the wrist contusion.
