  1. Very winnable game. The Graterol move was not sensible. Once they didn't get it done in the 9th and 10th it was not encouraging. Wasted a great effort by Pineda.
  2. Perez was terrific. Great move pinch-hitting *La Tortuga! Rosie the throw of the year.
  3. May did the same dumb thing Jack Morris said he shouldn't trying to be too cute when the fastball had Devers back on his heels. But, a win's a win. Getting Betts and Devers at the end made up for Roger's gopher ball to Benintendi.
  4. Good team win. Arreaz, Adrianza, Kepler all clutch. Even a walk by Wade.
  5. "He has no effect. He's a bit player". A cynic knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. - Oscar Wilde Astudillo is like a character out of Hans Christian Anderson or Grimm. There's a reason why he delighted fans, broadcasters, writer's, poets and players. He has *mystique. He is magic.
  6. A cynic is someone who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. - Oscar Wilde Astudillo really is something, a character out of Hans Christian Anderson or Grimm. There's a reason why he was embraced by the fans, broadcasters, writers, poets, and players. He has genuine mystique, an exceedingly rare trait.
  7. La Tortuga is the soul of this team. Important to have him back. Pineda really is the #1 reliable now. His season is a credit to the hard work he put in.
  8. Why did he pinch-hit Arreaz for Schoop? Made no sense with the bases loaded down 6-10.
  9. They're on target beating bad teams while Cleveland loses to Tampa. Be nice to see Rosario, Cruz, and Kepler all get 100 RBIS.
  10. Man, Polanco is really a butcher out there, now. Has to be a mental thing, right? Berrios, I thought was gonna blow the lead, all the wild pitches, but he didn't so that's something. Cave really proving his worth.
  11. Could Sano win Comeback Player Of The Year?
  12. Harper was a nice story, but he was always walking a tightrope.
  13. Nice to see Perez step up. Thought for sure KC would lose after Cleveland tied it. Stashak helped a lot.
  14. He should have taken out Berrios once he loaded the bases. Lose 2 of 3 to the White Sox and now to Detroit, hapless, pathetic. Good for Sano and Cave, but...
  15. Sano has exceeded expectations. Cruz and Kepler too.
  16. That Cron at bat when he didn't come through was especially disappointing. No one stepped up tonight, not really.
  17. Nice job by Romo after the 2-base Polanco error. He's got grit. Littell getting it done.
  18. Great job by Duffy, May...Nice game again from Cave, Marwin and Sano are primo.
  19. I don't remember a worse fielding Twins team. Magnified by a close pennant race.
