I took a look at the boxscore, saw Keaschall's line, and knew right away bad news was awaiting. Pretty crazy the variety and severity of injuries that plague this team.

Joe Ryan is about the only Twin worth a damn. Excellence.

Fun fact: if the Twins win tomorrow and Cleveland, Detroit and KC lose, they will be tied for first in the division.

Ordinarily not rooting for division opponents, but I make an exception in this case, Watching tonight's game in extra innings, and Detroit just took a 2 run lead. Gotta say, Tommy Erdman at 2b for LA made 3 outstanding plays in the 9th inning to keep it tied, including a crazy gun down of our old friend Manuel Margot at the plate.

This website confuses me. One day a writer will say XXXXX is a dud, a couple days later columnist YYYYY will say such player could be a star, all for the same reasons.

Different sport, but I was watching the Winnipeg Jets knock off the NY Islanders on ESPN, Jets broadcast. The announcers were talking about an interview with one of the Jets defensemen. Apparently the Jets let a bunch of FA talent walk at the end of last season, and in the words of this guy, they trusted the young homegrown guys to fill the void, and they've responded to a league best record. They mentioned how the Jets had a family kind of feel, trusting the process of draft and develop, and made prospects feel a part of the team. I would love to see the Twins do the same.
