If you don't want to give up home runs to major league hitters, then have major league pitchers pitch. It isn't Ryan Jeffers job to make the opposition look good trying to save their bullpen and take advantage of the worst roster use allowance in the game. Jeffers should just give his best effort every plate appearance. He has another game to prepare for today or tomorrow anyway.
