  1. Rocco misses pitchers hitting, so he keeps putting Farmer in the lineup to reminisce.
  2. Julien up to 1.012 OPS against LHP Farmer down to .158 against LHP Rocco, stop confusing your lineup spreadsheet with your diet spreadsheet.
  3. Farmer's so bad that even the MLB scoring system feels bad for him. It's giving him Julien's double.
  4. Farmer's made 8 outs in his last 6 PAs. He's actually worse than his numbers indicate.
  5. Meanwhile, the losses will keep piling up. Julien should be getting the PAs against lefties until he shows that his hot (.975 OPS) start against them is just a SSS mirage. Farmer should be relegated to late inning defensive replacement and platoon advantage PH opportunities in place of other struggling players without the platoon advantage. He can also sit in the clubhouse, pat teammates on the back and sing Kumbaya with them. I'd much rather see the young, up-and-comer who's been working to improve his weaknesses and getting results than watching a twilighter flail while trying to hang on. Hell, Farmer hasn't even been given any looks at shortstop, even though Willi Castro hasn't been lighting the world on fire. I wonder why that is. Loss of range? Having him sap playing time from an impact player with a hot bat against same-sided pitchers will just get a big BOO from me.
  6. Rocco' s probably already got 3+ outs penned into tonight's lineup via Kyle Farmer.
  7. ... and drive in about 60 That would blow Trout's low RBI/HR record (40 HR minimum) out of the water. The Twins might have the team to help him achieve that!
  8. Time to remind Okert of the game situation. IT'S NOT A NIBBLE SITUATION!
  9. Baldelli should be fired for that lineup alone.
  10. That's what the spreadsheet told me to do!
  11. I'm going to have some eggs, because this team doesn't deserve a fully formed chicken yet.
  12. Brilliant, Rocco. Ducks on the pond, and you went hunting with blanks.
  13. Now pinch hitting for Best Hitter is Worst Hitter. What do you think of the move, Justin?
  14. This exactly, Both Baltimore and Minnesota evaluated Jorge Lopez, Yennier Cano, Cade Povich and Tyler Wells. Minnesota also evaluated Lewis Thorpe. Baltimore went 4-4. Minnesota went 0-5.
  15. Orioles GM making Falvey look like an idiot.
