    It’s not your eyes. This was just a fuzzy scene and poor camera work. If you don’t recognize the scene immediately then you need to add Monty Python and the Holy Grail to your watch list. Sooner the better.

    Hold on while I process through this. I missed the entire game tonight and I’m upset, but not as upset as I am confused. We gave up 8 runs, and Pagan was the only one that didn’t give one up, picks a guy off, and has two extremely clean innings??? What alternate universe did I walk in to??

    I honestly hadn’t been tracking much this week since the Buxton injury. I was calling for Popkins’ and Rocco’s dismissal in another article, but now I kind of want to see the whole front office let go. These are fundamental roster management decisions that have apparently been fumbled, especially when you consider how poorly both have been hitting. Some fresh bats and an opportunity to spell some guys and get them reset would have been a welcome move. Instead we’ve botched 5 games in a row, and I’ll feel lucky if those 5 games would have made a difference at the end of the season. we are trending in the wrong direction once again, and i have zero confidence the leadership on this club can right the situation and have us finishing above .500 by the end of the season.

    If everyone is hitting poorly I find it incredibly hard to believe they are all regressing independently. Either Popkins’ approach goes, or Popkins needs to go. If either of those isn’t an option, then Rocco needs a pink slip.

    I just had to laugh at the headline. Saying our offense is cold is like saying the South Pole is a tad bit chilly.

    Yes. They need to shakeup the staff. If changes are not or wont be made by Rocco then his time here should be over.

    This is what is honestly keeping me excited and interested. I've tempered my expectations, but if we get our offense improved this could be one hell of a season.

    I was complaining about this after the opening series. I could see it then that we had a decent makeup on the mound, but hitting that would be leaving us want a lot more. For once we have a rotation that keep things together, but the margin for error is still very small because of how poorly the hitting can be.

    I didn’t see the game but I have two thoughts: 1) Maeda needs to go to St Paul and figure things out; Bailey Ober needs to be back up 2) Anyone that knows this club could see this loss coming after the way the season series victory was celebrated last night. What better way to celebrate a moral victory than with a hangover-fueled blowout loss.

    This was my concern with re-signing him early. I probably would not make a good GM, but signing players to new contracts mid-season takes some of the player’s urgency out of it since they’ve made their bank. it also opens things up to potentially missing out on a guy because they waited too long, the player significantly increased their market value, and now my team can’t afford him

    So what you are saying is get ready for a bitter game because the ONLY Twin to score this year is going to be riding pine. Right now this team's offense IS Buxton. If he sits then we aren't winning.

    I cannot believe Pagan is going to make the opening day roster. This lone inclusion on the roster already has me prepared to be lingering in the basement of the Central most of the year.

    I mean, when you put it like that, I would much rather have just lit the money on fire. That, or have a few home games this year with a free round of beer for the first 30k in attendance. Maybe save those for after the all-start game in case things start to tank badly.

    That last paragraph is all I have to cling to. I’m very frustrated that this happened or even had to happen, and we traded an proven player for someone that we hope will be great.
