  1. Wouldn't shock me to see the Twins keep him in Florida if the weather is cold up North. They are going to give him kid glove treatment, similar to Ober.
  2. Julien's future is at 1B if he stays in the organization. Just wonder if we would be selling low at thus point
  3. Analytics seem to be evolving and they finally realize that high K rates are bad. Wallner has power, but he is too streaky for me. If we can get a decent/controllable SP3 and he is part of the package, do it.
  4. Until Wallner can prove he can handle MLB pitchers, he is a 4A guy to me. If we are throwing in the towel on the season, then OK let's move our assets
  5. I see Sabato is up to a .274 BA, though his power has dropped. Anyone that has seen him play recently offer any words of hope with him? Or is he sacrificing his power to be more selective?
  6. Alex needs to go back to spraying the ball and quit worrying about launch angle and pulling the ball. He is a pure hitter, not a power hitter
  7. If you play golf and get into a bad rut, and only get to play a round once a week, that is similar to being the backup IF. You can practice as much as you want, but nothing is like live rounds
  8. Margot needs to start hitting and playing better D or he will be DFAd
  9. Wittgenstein was just added to the minors recently. He was with Cleveland a few years ago
  10. He looked fine until the 5th and then he got jumped hard
  11. Anyone know why the embedded Tweets just show up as a big X box? Been that way on my android since opening day
  12. Fabulous to see young people put down their phone long enough to make an impact on someone's life. Well done Mr Adams!
  13. They still could use it on Lorenzen. After ST, I am really worried about our starters. Maybe they were working on pitches and angles, but Ryan was the only steady SP
  14. This could be a great opportunity to add a quality arm for 2 years if that is the case. 2 years at say $7m per would be a bargain
  15. Pitch clock yes, shift a big heck no. Hit them where they ain't is baseball, not whiney pull happy strikeout machines at the plate
  16. This article had to be written by a politician, as it was written with a slant to support a view. Dbacks were a rebuilding team that had stripped their payroll down and no one expected them to compete last year. Of course their payroll was going up this year! Comparing owners and franchises is a dicey road as no 2 are equal
  17. Festa needs to master the minors first. He has had stretches, but so has SWR. If Festa can reduce the walk rate and become an anchor in St Paul, then I'll view him as a legit rotation option
