  1. As the prospect crew at Twins Daily is rolling out their top prospects, there are two who I think are flying under the radar. After wildly successful 2022 seasons, keep an eye on them to repeat and improve their prospect status in 2023.

  3. Thanks for the nightmares 😂
  4. The Twins haven’t gotten the offers they were hoping for in a Kepler trade, which means he’s likely to be on the Opening Day roster. With nine outfielders on the active roster, what is the role of each player? View full video

  6. I hope I’m wrong and tbh I’m not expecting them to all suck. Just don’t think people are realizing there is a possibility that “the plan” doesn’t work out for the third consecutive season. Honestly not being a dick..trying to be helpful, but when you use Fangraphs you can just call it fWAR or bWAR for baseball reference.
  7. Imagine a world where Kepler’s offense isn’t saved by the shift being banned, Buxton misses significant time (again), and 2022 Joey Gallo wasn’t a fluke. Woof.
  8. I broached a similar topic awhile ago…also tabbed Cole Sands whose FB velo and slider spin rates are very similar to Jax.
  9. Over the weekend Roch Kabotka of MASN Sports said the Baltimore orioles need a “defensive minded corner outfielder to complete their off-season”. Although, specifically looking for a left fielder, the Twins and Orioles could come together for their second trade in six months.

  11. It’s time to move past the trade and focus on Pablo Lopez as a Minnesota Twin exclusive of your feelings about Luis Arraez. With three shoulder injuries in five years, how much should we worry about his durability and stamina moving forward?

  13. What a fun read. Asked my prof (who was also my advisor) if I could miss her night class at UMD. She said no, I skipped anyway and made the trip. Obviously, totally worth it. Also the greatest game I have been to in my life.
  14. Buxton & Gallo strikeout too much for me to have them leadoff games and the Twins don’t run enough to be too concerned with BSR, IMO. I like Correa for the job. He has only 16 PA in the leadoff spot, but good numbers when leading off an inning. Buxton in the two followed by Miranda then Gallo…most nights.
  15. The addition of Pablo Lopez gives the twins, some much needed depth in their rotation. How does he impact the likes of Kenta Maeda, Josh Winder, Bailey Ober, and other young Twins pitchers?

  17. With Spring Training a month away the Twins are still looking for a right-handed bat. There aren’t a lot of options on free agency, but there are two NL West teams who may have the capacity to help the Twins fill a need.

  19. The Minnesota Twins signed a very strong international free agency class, including three prospects in the top 23 of Baseball America’s rankings. While it’ll be a long time until we possibly see these teenagers at Target Field, they all project to impact the game on both sides of the ball. View full video

  21. There have been plenty of rumors that the Twins are looking to trade Luis Arraez, but what about Jorge Polanco? Which Twins infielder holds the most value moving forward? Should the Twins trade the player with the most value or the player that is most expendable?

  23. Just another day in Twins Territory as they sign a superstar free agent. The signing makes some players within the organization expendable. Here's my take on who should be traded and what we should target.

  25. None of the above. Would rather give our young guys the innings and at-bats to prove themselves. Unless it’s a clear upgrade via trade, I’m ready to roll into 2023 with what we have and see what happens.
