  1. Probably a stupid thought/question: Seems like the Twins should make the Wildcard. Will they play the NYY's? If yes, do you think the Twins shouldn't make any trades letting our good prospects go? Call me pessimistic but we all know they won't spend to improve.
  2. He used to be able to get on base and then run like the wind!
  3. It would be amazing to see the early version of Buxton. I hope to see something even close the rest of the season. But don't forget the June schedule was against some not so great teams.
  4. I hate the BS about not having money to spend. They don’t want to spend. I don’t are if they keep him or not.
  5. Super excited for today's game. Hopefully he get's a lot of run support.
  6. It was a nail biter for sure. One loss isn't the end of the world but they need to avoid losing the series and going on losing streak. It is mid season and Cleveland is right now the top team in the MLB and on a 7 game winning streak and the Twins are 9 games behind. Not impossible to catch up but it will be hard. Overall a little disappoint in June given their schedule. Astros .494, our favorite Yankees .642, Pirates .491, Rockies .342, A's .354, TB .500, AZ .494 and upcoming Seattle .549. The Twins are .500 for the month (thank you A's for 6 of the total 11 wins in June. Two more against Arizona is a must as they wrap up June with the Mariners. IMO going to be tough to win the ALC and a Wild Card spot may be hard too.
  7. They should have had more wins in June playing against sub 500 teams. What happens with Cleveland will say a lot.
  8. I just hope he doesn't let the coaching staff mess with his approach. Think we have seen that movie a few too many times Please keep him healthy Sign him no matter what!
  9. Still 7-3 for the last 10. BUT they need to stop the bleeding now. Great winning streaks but they seem to follow up with sad losing streak. The rest of June looks easy and if they don't cash in, it will be interesting to see the lineups in July. I also hate the throwaway games. Sure rest the best player and there may not be baseball for us in October.
  10. Rocco/Twins take too many get away games and not playing their best lineup
  11. If we only get to send one, I would pick Lewis. Sending two would be Correa and Lewis.
  12. Kind of distressing how Pablo as look lately. Best case scenario is he will snap out of it worst case is he is pitching with an injury.
  13. Most MN fans are not able to follow on TV and I think this affects Twins players.
  14. I know the AllStar voting process is a joke but sad to not see any Twins players listed.
  15. I agree. Not easy to do but many of the players discussed and a few others have been given many chances at the MLB level and not much to say they will ever be good enough. Right now all is going SO good but keep in mind they are playing below average teams. I think they should keep going with what they have and see how this line-up does against the average or above average teams. Why not give others a chance? Yunior Severino and Michael Helman both batted over .400 (as did Tony Kemp). Severino launched three home runs while Helman had two. Severino took eight walks. Brooks Lee settled in to the tune of a .333 average going 8-for-24 with a double and a home run.
  16. Stand pat and give the guys who are waiting a place first. NO MORE RETrEADS
  17. Wasn't thinking of you or anyone when I wrote this but I think or it seems that there are always posts calling for heads of hitting and pitching coaches. Must have been dreaming
  18. Yes! No matter what the analytics say don't go changing the lineup or giving days off while they are on a roll.
  19. It would be nice to go back to pre-analytics days and just have the same line-up most days. Hate sitting guys just in case they may get hurt or need days off for rest. I hate all the stats and analysis. Taking away from baseball.
  20. Since I cannot see on TV, wondering if the young guys have a veteran to get immediate feedback from. I remember when the kids would go to Cruz and for pitching maybe Santana? Is there a team chemistry?
  21. He needs to go down but if he is injured they need to figure out how to help prevent injuries. Seems many of the prospects are injury prone once they get here.
  22. I think it is confidence. They need to know they have a long term or at least 30 days to prove themselves instead of living with the fear of being sent down. There ae 4-5 players we need to figure out what they have in the future instead of wasting time on Margot, Vazquez and Farmer.
  23. So frustrating! He got a fair chance a lot of playing time. They should give others that keep going back and forth a longer look/chance. Otherwise let's take a good hard look at some of the youngsters.
