Oh, but didn't you hear? The boys got all bummed out when the FO decided to trade a few people after watching the team blow like 10 late leads in 6 weeks. They were really gutted and just can't muster the enthusiasm to finish out the last 60 games

Anyone think Claudio's delivery is a left handed version of Dennis Eckersley? That's just the visual that popped into my head.

It stinks when you've been bad for the better part of 7 seasons and still don't really seem to have a blueprint for rebuilding.

The only positive in the game was a recycled pitcher - the team-record 30th on the year. The Rangers TV crew made the comment that they had just been in Seattle, the Mariners had used 33 pitchers already, and it wasn't a team record.

But they had that fireballer on the mound who reached up to the high sixties at times.
